Rich amber color with aroma of sweet pumpkin pie and savory spices with hints of sweet malt. Rich and creamy with a chewy mouthfeel that you can sink your teeth into. Flavors of pumpkin up front then sweet malt, pie crust, spice, hints of brown sugar and a clean finish. We stopped just short of the whipped cream. But we like the way you think.

Pours orange with a fleeting wispy head. Pumpkin spice aroma with malt and some alcohol notes. Big pumpkin pie flavor with some warming at the finish. The mouthfeel is smooth and slightly creamy. The carbonation level is pretty low. The finish is sweet and cloying.

Generally the only thing worse than a pumpkin beer is an imperial pumpkin beer. This is slightly better than most pumpkin beers as there is a hint of malt and booze at least. Otherwise... Tap at brewpub.

UPDATED: SEP 17, 2016 Pours an amber brown with a short antique white head. Pumpkin pie and root beer nose. Richer. You can tell it has a larger grain bill.

Pours a clear dark coppery orange with a thin white head. Light spice aroma. Lightly syrupy body. Fairly smooth up front then cinnamon and clove in the aftertaste with some alcohol warmth. OK but not as good as I expected.

Pours orange-red with a bit of floating sediment; a white head that dissipates to a sticky film. Aromas of toffee, pumpkin and spice. Toffee, dark fruit, toasted bready tones, pumpkin, spice, slight herbal notes, cream and brown sugar. Finishes with mild earthy hops and a bit of alcohol warmth. Surprisingly clean mouthfeel for a beer this big. Really nice.

On tap. Cooper color with one finger head. Pumpkin, cinnamon taste, not so sweet, which I like more in a pumpkin beer.

bottle - This beer has a nice spicy aroma with nutmeg especially noticeable to me. The flavor is sweet and spicy with a good kick of pumpkin and some caramel. Medium to full bodied. The 9% abv is buried. Quite good.

Poured into a perfect pint. 3.5 A: Clear orange amber color. Two fingers of frothy beige head. Retention is about average and just a wisp or two of lacing is left. 4.25 S: Big pumpkin pie spiciness. Lots of cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice, ginger. Strong layered caramel. Toasty malts with a sweet graham cracker component. 4.25 T: Taste is as good as the nose. Again potent spices mentioned above. Sweet maltiness coming in the form of toastiness, sweet caramel, and hints of molasses and toffee. 3.75 M: Medium body. Good moderate carbonation. Moderately creamy and super smooth with a sweet tangy finish. 4.0 D: One of the better pumpkin beers offered. Definitely worth a purchase if pumpkin is your thing. ★ 724 characters DavoleBomb, Sep 26, 2015

Decent for a seasonal pumpkin ale. -------- count is really not a good way to run a comment section.
