Growler, poured a crystal clear golden color with a thick white head. Grainy aromas with some subtle sweetness and earthy hops. Clean flavor, very refreshing. Bready with some sweetness folowwed up with a delicious hop balance. Medium mouthfeel, a very nice, easy drinking maibock.

Aroma: Floral hops and bready malts--well balanced. Appearance: Cloudy and orange with no head. Taste: Light sweetness with light bitterness and a sour finish. Palate: Medium body and carbonation with a dry texture and a long finish. Overall: Great session brew with a lot of depth, but not overpowering in any one direction.

On tap at Fat Head’s on 3/27/10. Clear gold pour with a thin white head. Creamy malt nose without much else going on. Very faint. Flavor is much better with the creamy malt coming through fully before some crisp bitter hops and a crisp, clean finish.
