3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Draft, as part of Wetherspoon’s ale festival. Contract brewed by Bateman’s in Lincolnshire. Slightly hazy straw with a white head. Aroma is piney. Very balanced flavour, quite east-coast with the sweet malt backbone. Texture a touch oily, but works well with the very creamy head. OK beer, interested to see how the contract version stands up against the original.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours a clear golden/orange with a medium white head. Aroma has light grainy malts and some earthy hops...a faint buttery note. Flavor is more earthy/herbal with good bitterness. Mouthfeel is light and the finish is dry and bitter/slight pine.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
On draft at Milano’s in Beavercreek. Aroma and flavors of citrus, tropical fruits, and somewhat grassy hop profile. Beer was a nice golden color and very clear. I think I was expecting more after having their Head Hunter. This IPA is just ok for me.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Draft. Pours clear amber in color with a big fluffy off white head. The aroma has a nice hoppy citrus, pine and tropical fruit blend with some sweet bready malt. The flavor has more citrus and tropical fruit, light resiny, mild toasted sweet bread and grass. Moderate bitterness to the finish. Pretty good at 5%.

On tap at Fat Heads Pittsburgh. Pours a cloudy orange with a thick white head. Aroma of citrus, grapefruit, and bitter grassy hops. Flavor of grassy, garlicky hops upfront with citrus and bitterness in the finish. Tasty, hoppy, bitter IPA.

Tap at nano brew. Hop forward bitter grapefruit, touch of tangerine, toasted grass malt backing. Tad astringent, but nice hop character. Dry. Pretty good.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Had on tap at Mad Mex. Pour is a copper orange, perfectly clear, with lots of billowy off white head. Nose is decent, notes of roasted grains and pale malts. Hops are a bit green, with light citrus and an assertive herbal hop. Has a hint of spice to it. Flavor is much of the same, very balanced but just a touch green. Body is nice, light and good carb, semi dry and very clean finish but a hint syrupy towards the finish.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Draft at mad mex robinson. Pours orange with an inch of white foam. Nice floral vibe on the nose. The notes are there and they have stating power on the tongue. Blends nicely with spicy food. Solid.
