Pours golden orange with a sticky foam head that laces my glass. As I taste this brew I noticed a mild to moderate level of bitterness that is countered by a semi sweet malty flavor. The beverage finishes with a citrus like taste. As for the aroma it has a nice hoppy tone. I picked up on citrus fruit, mango, slight pine, soft malts, and a sugary element. Overall this was an easy drinker. Iím glad I picked up a 6 pack.

Bottle courtesy of GandGKevin via Chicago Mike. Thanks Kevin and Mike! Amber pour with a short foamy white head. Strong resinous and floral hops up front with citrus fruit, light tropical fruit and soft malt notes underneath. Taste is big floral hops, citrus, pine, hop resins, tropical fruit and soft malt notes. Body is light-medium with a soft, bubbly carbonation. Moderate lingering hop bitterness as well. Ends with more floral hops, pine notes, tropical fruit, citrus zest, soft malt and grains.

Bottle obtained via trade. Poured into a pint glass. Pour was golden in color, fairly clear, medium head, not much lacing. Bottle. Aroma is citrus, resin, pine with some dankness. Taste of citrus mainly. Very hoppy with a good amount of bitterness. On the lighter side, and a perfect summer beer. I donít get Fat Headís very often so I was happy with this and other bottles I need to try.

12 ounce bottle into pint glass, bottled on 4/7/2014. Pours sightly hazy bright gold color with a 2 finger dense and fluffy white head with great retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Spotty soapy lacing clings down the glass, with some moderate streaming carbonation. Aromas of big grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, lemon zest, orange peel, floral, grass, pine, light caramel, bread, and floral/grassy earthiness. Fantastic aromas with bright citrus/tropical hops notes with a fair amount of malt balance; with great strength. Taste of big grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, lemon zest, orange peel, floral, grass, pine, light caramel, bread, and floral/grassy earthiness. Fair amount of grassy/pine bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, lemon zest, orange peel, floral, grass, pine, light caramel, bread, and floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Damn nice complexity and robustness of bright citrus/tropical hops and moderate malt flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a smooth, crisp, and lightly sticky mouthfeel that is great. Alcohol is well hidden with no warming present after the finish as expected of 4.9%. Overall this is an awesome session IPA! All around great complexity and robustness of juicy citrus/tropical hops with moderate malt balance; and very smooth and crisp to drink. A highly enjoyable offering.

Big hop aromas as well as citrus and peach. Orange taste and could probably be served with an orange. Malt undertones in the back, just a little bit though. Very light and could be well paired with chicken wings or spicy foods.

Bottle from Heinens. Gold with chill haze dense head and lace. Nice peppy light citrus pastry aroma. Dry fruity mango melon apricot sweetness with assertive citrus rind lingering dry bitterness. Effervescent carbo accentuates hops. Light body. Excellent. One of the best in style so far.

Draft. Straw yellow with no head. Fruity citrus hop aroma. Slightly bitter pine resin flavor with a dry finish. Not bad.
