3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
On tap at GTMW 2012
This beer gave me a chance to reacquaint myself with one of the best brewers in Ohio. A decent sessionable IPA was a good way to break up the monotony of big imperial stouts. Even if you pace yourself eventually the palate gets tired.
Aroma / Appearance - A clear golden body sparkled with light carbonation. Fluid and soft, the body is a mixture of lemon zest chased with water. Simple and effective it does what it needs to and nothing more.
Flavor / Palate - Easy to finish this beer was gone in just a few sips. Pine, citrus, and grapefruit are bright for a low ABV IPA. It fades fairly quickly which is to be expected. Iíll have to get up to Cleveland some time soon to try the rest of their new beers.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
A weak tasting and boring IPA, though would be a perfect summer session ale. Aroma was very floral. Flowers, pine and perfume. Pour was a nice medium gold with a one finger white head. Taste, again was very floral and weak. Rose pedal, sweet malt and hints of lemongrass. No real hops to speak of. Decent carbonation. I wouldnít label this as an IPA

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
On tap. Clear amber color. Nice thin foamy off-white head, that really stays. Good lace. Active-looking carbonation. Really nice smooth texture, dry finish. Massive hay, straw citrus peel hop aroma. Oregano. Very flavorful, with a great aftertaste. Good light bitter taste, but it doesnít distract from the aroma, complements it. Really, a great session IPA, gives founders All-day a run for itís money.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
UPDATED: OCT 1, 2012 Sampled on draft at 3R6P this beer poured a caramel-amber color with a medium sized creamy yellow-white head that left great lacing. The aroma was bitter grapefruit, lemon, faint pine and perfume. The flavor was bitter and dry with grapefruit, lemon, perfume and faint pine. Long dry and bitter mixed hop finish. Medium body. Ok.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
this poured a semi cloudy orange color with a white cover. Aroma was lightler citrusy hops, some lemon peel, and toasted grain. Falvor as much the same, fairly balanced, but a little too heavy for what it is, and not much hop pop that their other ipas have. A bit disappointing.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
On draught at Bodega. The beer is a clear golden color with a medium white head that evaporates steadily. Partial rings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of citrus, hops and a bit of malt. Light-bodied with a moderately bitter hops character that has zesty citrus and malt notes. The finish is hoppy with a lingering orange rind aftertaste. Overall this is a tasty lower-ABV IPA. I have generally been a fan of this trend.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 17/20
On tap 6 Jun 2012, another fantastic IPA from fatheads, theyíve dialed back the ABV and made an easy drinking quick finishing light IPA. only complaint is that its a bit too light, no bite really.. great replacement for any pale lager though.
