Our hoppy, refreshing session drinker. This bright golden colored brew offers aromas of tropical fruit and pine, along with a juicy citrusy blast on your palate. Finishes with a lingering dry bitterness. Peace, Love and Hoppiness.

Draft. Poured a clear copper color with an average creamy off-white head that mostly lasted with excellent lacing. Moderate sweet citrus and earthy aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium to heavy bittersweet flavor with a medium bittersweet finish of moderate duration. My expectations where exceeded.

Sample from cask at the Big Tap In on 05/31/2014. Pale orange color with a medium white head that diminishes steadily. Partial rings of lacing. Aroma of tropical fruit, hops and malt. Light-bodied with flavors of herbal hops, citrus, melon and doughy malt. The finish is mildly bitter with a fruity hops aftertaste. Above average overall.

On draught at Bodega. The beer is a clear golden color with a medium white head that evaporates steadily. Partial rings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of citrus, hops and a bit of malt. Light-bodied with a moderately bitter hops character that has zesty citrus and malt notes. The finish is hoppy with a lingering orange rind aftertaste. Overall this is a tasty lower-ABV IPA. I have generally been a fan of this trend.

Squat bottle. Pours dark straw with a lot of flaoties and a lot of effervescence. The head is frothy and well retained. Nose is piney bitter hops, citrus, florals, white pepper. Tastes floral, dry, resiny, hoppy, with balanced malt and a IBU-laden finish, and more bitterness. My only minor beef is that the finish might be a TAD malt-light. Still, thatís like complaining about getting Jessica Alba as a companion for the night instead of Katy Perry..

Bottle. Orange malt and funky orange peel/pine aroma. Golden yellow with small head. Lightly sweet orange malt and moderately bitter grapefruit peel/pine flavor. Light body. Pretty tasty - great hops.

On tap at Fat Headís Portland, pours a clear blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out loads of mineraly dry biscuity malt and some floral hops. Flavour reveals moderate intensity floral hops, and lots of mineraly biscuity malt. Well-balanced and clean, just a bit too mineraly. Decent.

On tap. Clear amber color. Nice thin foamy off-white head, that really stays. Good lace. Active-looking carbonation. Really nice smooth texture, dry finish. Massive hay, straw citrus peel hop aroma. Oregano. Very flavorful, with a great aftertaste. Good light bitter taste, but it doesnít distract from the aroma, complements it. Really, a great session IPA, gives founders All-day a run for itís money.

Draft from Dutchís, served in a pint glass. Pours a just barely cloudy gold color with a good amount of rising carbonation bubbles and a small, creamy off-white head that leaves a trailing sheet of uneven lace. Aroma of fresh, grassy hops, grapefruit citrus, and sweet bread. Flavor of citrus peel, fresh hops, tangerine, and not much malt to speak of. Light-bodied, with medium carbonation and a bitter, citrusy mouthfeel. Good IPA. I donít know if it qualifies as "session" at 5%, but maybe by RB or American craft standards thatís passable.

On tap at PDX. Pours a clear golden color with a medium white head. A big sweet late boil fruity nose. The flavor is a great example of a session IPA with loads of citrus and fruity hops, mild bitterness, sweet dry malt base. Solid.
