3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
On draft at Milanoís in Beavercreek. Aroma and flavors of citrus, tropical fruits, and somewhat grassy hop profile. Beer was a nice golden color and very clear. I think I was expecting more after having their Head Hunter. This IPA is just ok for me.

4.3 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
What a gorgeous beer, itís a clear golden colored liquid topped by 3+ fingers of voluptuous snow white head. The head doesnít go anywhere in a hurry but eventually dies down to a scrim that covers the beer, leaving behind a respectable amount of lacing on the walls of the glass. It has a hop-forward nose that tantalizes you with a bevy of citrus fruits. Grapefruit is the easiest to pick out but with a little imagination you can find notes of tangerine and pineapple. With each drink your tongue is greeted by a wave of bright citrusy hops that follows through on the promise of the nose. Flavors of pine emerge near the finish and linger pleasantly after the death of the drink. The pale malts are definitely in the background here but they are substantial enough to keep it tasting like a beer. The bitterness is moderate, typical IPA level stuff. The mouthfeel is light bodied and crisp with a smidge of oily resinous character.
The malts are dialed back so much in some session IPAs that they taste like water infused with hops. Here Fat Headís pushes things toward the hop-forward end of the spectrum but stops short of going over that line. Iíve had both Go To IPA and All Day IPA and I think Sunshine Daydream is better than either of those session IPAs. Itís a crisp, refreshing beer spilling over with citrusy hop deliciousness, like sunshine in a bottle.

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Piney, fresh, bitter and long finish. Good carbonation and mouthfeel. One of the better session IPAs I have had.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle from Mariís. Pours clear golden with a small white head that dissipates rather quickly. There is a lot of glass carbonation. The aroma has a lot of citrus. Grapefruit, pear, tropical fruit, an light pine. The taste has a nice bitter punch up front which is followed by a citrus sweetness.. then a long duration mild bitterness. Very nice.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Gold pour with creamy white head and lace. Some floral on the nose with a citrus kick. Bready with some caramel sweet. Medium bodied with good carbonation. Not sure if it is fruity esters I caught on the nose or floral hops. Still pretty solid beer.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle: The aroma consists of light tropical fruits, citrus, grapefruit, a touch of dank hops, and some faint pine. It pours a transparent golden-orange with a yellow-tinged off-white head that quickly fades to a soapy film outlined by a slightly thicker ring. There are some thin soapy rings left on the sides of the glass. The flavor starts with a quick dose of tropical fruits. The finish has moderate citrus hops, grapefruit, and a touch of lemon peel. Itís light-medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Overall, a tasty session IPA, but Iíd rather session Head Hunter regardless of the increased abv.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle shared by Bill...pours clearish copper orange with small white head and light lacing. Notes are mostly bitter ashy hops and some cracker malt. Was expecting some juicy citrus notes after seeing the name but this was thin and bland with too much bitterness.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Light copper color in the glass with a thin off-white head. Nice floral and citrus hop aroma. Medium bodied with just enough sweetness to offset the hops.
