3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 Dogbrick (6014) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - JUN 22, 2012On draught at Bodega. The beer is a clear golden color with a medium white head that evaporates steadily. Partial rings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of citrus, hops and a bit of malt. Light-bodied with a moderately bitter hops character that has zesty citrus and malt notes. The finish is hoppy with a lingering orange rind aftertaste. Overall this is a tasty lower-ABV IPA. I have generally been a fan of this trend.

Pours a clear golden/orange with a medium white head. Aroma has light grainy malts and some earthy hops...a faint buttery note. Flavor is more earthy/herbal with good bitterness. Mouthfeel is light and the finish is dry and bitter/slight pine.
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 brewsandfutbal (12) - Ohio, USA - JAN 16, 2013
On draft at Milano’s in Beavercreek. Aroma and flavors of citrus, tropical fruits, and somewhat grassy hop profile. Beer was a nice golden color and very clear. I think I was expecting more after having their Head Hunter. This IPA is just ok for me.

Draft. Pours clear amber in color with a big fluffy off white head. The aroma has a nice hoppy citrus, pine and tropical fruit blend with some sweet bready malt. The flavor has more citrus and tropical fruit, light resiny, mild toasted sweet bread and grass. Moderate bitterness to the finish. Pretty good at 5%.

Tap at nano brew. Hop forward bitter grapefruit, touch of tangerine, toasted grass malt backing. Tad astringent, but nice hop character. Dry. Pretty good.

Had on tap at Mad Mex. Pour is a copper orange, perfectly clear, with lots of billowy off white head. Nose is decent, notes of roasted grains and pale malts. Hops are a bit green, with light citrus and an assertive herbal hop. Has a hint of spice to it. Flavor is much of the same, very balanced but just a touch green. Body is nice, light and good carb, semi dry and very clean finish but a hint syrupy towards the finish.
3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 DiarmaidBHK (2272) - Pennsylvania, USA - NOV 8, 2012
Draft at mad mex robinson. Pours orange with an inch of white foam. Nice floral vibe on the nose. The notes are there and they have stating power on the tongue. Blends nicely with spicy food. Solid.

Sample at Fat Head’s Cleveland on 10/7/12. Clear gold pour with a medium off-white head. Citrusy nose with notes of malt and pine. Malty and resinous flavor with a spicy hop finish.
2.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 cheap (3373) - Cheap Lager in Western, Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 20, 2012
Looks like pale lager. Nice lacing. First taste is a little slaggy. Somewhat like the smell of grammas permanent hair treatment. Very little co2. On tap at Vintage Estate. Quite stong of an impression for a 5%. Smell is just plain beery and overall its a little more acceptable than most in this style

On draft at Fat Heads Pittsburgh. Poured hazy orange with fluffy white head. Floral, citrusy nose. Flavor the same with fresh cut orange and a piney, resinous finish. Yes, a bit thin. Underrated. Great session IPA. Also had the Citra dry hopped version of this on draft as well - even better with more pungent nose and juicy hop flavor. I’d rate the dry hopped version at 4.1.
