COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Historically brewed as “liquid bread” by and for fasting monks, this creamy Doppelbock is a strong lager with a rich malty flavor, toasty aroma and ruby hue.

Growler: The aroma consists of moderate caramel, toffee, and light apple. It pours a dark copper with a large creamy off-white head with very good retention. The flavor starts with moderate caramel, chocolate, and toffee. The finish has some raisin, faint roast, and a hint of alcohol. It’s medium-full bodied with mild carbonation and a slightly sticky mouthfeel.
