Canned on 07/08/14 so this is pretty fresh. Received in trade from a non RB member. The pour is copper amber with a slight fog and a big head. The aroma is breaded malts with a full earthy and resiny hop profile. The body is medium to heavy. The hop bitterness prevails in this beer and really lingers on at the end.

Tap. Pours clear orange, medium off white head, good lacing. Aroma is light citrus, grapefruit, pine. Flavor is the same, very light sweet, medium bitter, muted hop flavors. Light bodied, a bit watery.

Pours hazy deep golden, half finger creamy head, excellent lacing. Aroma dank tropical, slight citrus hops, bit of bready sweet malt. Taste bitter all hops, tropical, citrus, slight pine. Mouthfeel medium body and carbonation, spicy hop bite, dry finish. Overall one sided, not complex, decent beer, nothing special.

Pours a golden orange with a medium head and tons of lacing. Aroma is crisp with the citra hops really shining through. Taste is crisp with a bit of citrus and pine up front and some grapefruit and bitter hops in the finish.

12oz can given to me from JohnGonk. Pours a clear amber color with a thick frothy off white head. Aroma of caramel malt, oranges, pineapple, grapefruit zest, and pine. Taste is refreshing and hoppy. Lots of grapefruit and pine up front, followed by citrus zest, resin, pine, and caramel malt. Solid

Very grassy, spicy hop nose on this beer. Pours amber, with a full white head. Lots of hop notes coming through with tropical fruit, grass, and earthiness. The malt is there just to balance out the hops, and gets out of the way. Moderate body, and very easy drinking.

Can to glass poured a hazy orange, minimal head, medium lacing. Aroma was mainly hoppy with plenty of citrus and some pine. Taste was mainly citrus with grapefruit and lemon coming out to me. It was a nice Pale Ale, alcohol was well hidden, quite bitter, fairly light body. Another solid offering from Fat Head’s.

Trail Head Pale Ale-4-7-7-3 Gold pour with creamy white head and lace. Aroma of bready malt, caramel, and a citrus hop aroma. Flavor is bready malt, citrus hops, with some resiny hops creeping in as well. Very nice bitter finish for a PA. Medium bodied with just a hinto fizz. Still pretty good beer

Can from the can. Nose is piney with some citrus character, but a little cold. Pours a wonder green can to mouth. Taste is initially very bitter and pithy. Then shows off a strong pine hop flavor. No malt profile behind the aggressive bitterness. Drying finish. Seems like an over done IPA, and at 6.3% its a little big for a pale ale. I’d call this a low boost IPA more than anything else. Not bad, just not a Pale Ale at all.

Sampled at DLD 2014. It poured a hazy orange color with a medium white head. The aroma was of hops, malt and citrus. The taste was of citrusy hops, toasted malts and a touch of pine. Very nice.
