12oz can given to me from JohnGonk. Pours a clear amber color with a thick frothy off white head. Aroma of caramel malt, oranges, pineapple, grapefruit zest, and pine. Taste is refreshing and hoppy. Lots of grapefruit and pine up front, followed by citrus zest, resin, pine, and caramel malt. Solid

Very grassy, spicy hop nose on this beer. Pours amber, with a full white head. Lots of hop notes coming through with tropical fruit, grass, and earthiness. The malt is there just to balance out the hops, and gets out of the way. Moderate body, and very easy drinking.

Can to glass poured a hazy orange, minimal head, medium lacing. Aroma was mainly hoppy with plenty of citrus and some pine. Taste was mainly citrus with grapefruit and lemon coming out to me. It was a nice Pale Ale, alcohol was well hidden, quite bitter, fairly light body. Another solid offering from Fat Headís.

Trail Head Pale Ale-4-7-7-3 Gold pour with creamy white head and lace. Aroma of bready malt, caramel, and a citrus hop aroma. Flavor is bready malt, citrus hops, with some resiny hops creeping in as well. Very nice bitter finish for a PA. Medium bodied with just a hinto fizz. Still pretty good beer

Can from the can. Nose is piney with some citrus character, but a little cold. Pours a wonder green can to mouth. Taste is initially very bitter and pithy. Then shows off a strong pine hop flavor. No malt profile behind the aggressive bitterness. Drying finish. Seems like an over done IPA, and at 6.3% its a little big for a pale ale. Iíd call this a low boost IPA more than anything else. Not bad, just not a Pale Ale at all.

Sampled at DLD 2014. It poured a hazy orange color with a medium white head. The aroma was of hops, malt and citrus. The taste was of citrusy hops, toasted malts and a touch of pine. Very nice.

Review from a growler fill I got back in mid Winter. Itís a clear amber color that pours with approximately two fingers of pure white head. The fresh hopping with whole flower Citra and Simcoe hops gives it a big nose of fresh green hops. Like other great examples of style the hop aroma is grassy, reminiscent of hemp, with notes of pine. The fresh green hops come through big time in the taste as well, itís really what this beer is all about. The malts donít really register on my taste buds, nor is there much bitterness, other than a slight lingering bitterness on the finish. The mouthfeel is relatively light and easy drinking. No oily mouthfeel like you get with some IPAs and DIPAs. Overall this beer does just one thingófresh hopsóbut it does that thing very well. Although I canít do a side by side comparison I think it would hold its own pretty well against Founderís Harvest Ale, which is the standard against which I judge fresh/wet hopped beers.

On tap at cle brewpub. Very nondescript APA. Not bitter at all and goes down smooth. Some good grassy flavors. Nothing special. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

This one poured a hazy light orange with a white head. Aroma was big tropical and piney hops, definite citra and simcoe here. with no malt getign in the way. Flavor was big fruity hops, light pale malt and wheatyness innthe background. Great Pale Ale

Perfect growler from Save On. Clear golden orange with lasting head and nice lace. Orangy bready citrus hop pastry aroma. Medium sweet orangy fruity with orange medium orange rind bitterness. Reasonably dry with a hint of lingering sweetness. Medium light body. Very good.
