[2/23/15] Draught at Fat Headís in Portland. Clear golden. Aroma has some fruity hops and a vegetal note. Sweetish flavor with malt, some fruity hops, a vegetal note and a bitter finish. Medium-bodied.

On draft Fat Heads Pittsburgh. Poured copper with skim of head and nice lacing. Flavor is grass, light grass and pine. Decent overall but nothing that really pops.

Poured from tap to glass. Orange hue with creamy off white head that lingered. Aroma is tangerine, pine, grapefruit, sugar, orange. Mouthfeel is great with a medium body and crisp carbonation. Taste is sweet with a nice hop bitterness through the finish. Overall this is a really enjoyable brew.

Growler from the brewery. Quite steady off-white head. Filtered. The simcoe and citra description got me hyped, but this is pretty much a classic APA at the end of the day, maybe a touch more pronounced hop bill. Good, but kind of standard.

On tap at Fat Headís Portland, pours a clear pale golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out earthy notes and floral hops. Flavour is nicely balanced, with floral hops, earthy notes and a dry biscuity malt backing. Dry, smooth and drinkable. Solid pale ale.

12 oz. can poured to pint. Great hoppy aroma with a thick fluffy white head. Real crisp hop flavor. Great pale ale.

Can. Pour is a nice clear coppery gold with a sudsy white head and aromas of citrus and the like. Flavor is crisp and clean with oranges, lemon and grapefruit. Very nice APA.

Serving: 12 oz. can. It pours a light copper color with a sizable rocky off white head. The nose has plenty of citrus and pine. The flavor is orange, pine resin, and slight herbal notes. Robust bitterness for a pale ale. Still, quite a tasty beverage.

Fat Head's Saloon, Pittsburgh, draft. Smells very good, hoppy and woody and bitter. Dark golden and clear. Very bitter and dry. A little soapy tasting, but mostly good. Very dry. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
