COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A robust porter brewed with malted barley that was smoked over Adler wood by our brewers on-site. Rich smoky aromas greet your nose while dark chocolate, coffee, and faint smokiness dominate the flavor of this beer. One puff is not enough.

On tap at the bocktown monaca. Yes, slight smoked bacon arom abut is that coming from the kitchen? Fairly dark. Almost black but it seems to be dark brown upon closer inspection. Smoked flavors from the start. Certainly a good example of its style. A little uneasy at times. Seems like the smoke was almost artificially added but Iím no expert, go figger. As with most smoked brews, quite one smokey sided. Bacon fried smoked bacon. Not impressed by this style but there ya have it.

On draft. Aroma of licorice. Flavors of smoky chocolate with some nuts behind them. Finished with a coffee like bitterness. Vaguely sticky on the palate. No trace of 9%. Probably under-rauched, still fantastic.

On tap at Whole foods in Cranberry. Dark brownl but not too oily. This beer is noted for its cedar smoke notes. Almost a rauch beer but not as sweet..

Big smoky stout flavors. Smoked malt, char-roast, sweet mocha, beechwood, teriyaki sauce, meatiness, black coffee, and earthy hop finish. Gets meatier and meatier as it warms. Great stuff in this glass.

10oz on tap at Allynís Cafe, for $6. Black color. Nice lumpy light brown head. Medium body. Soft kind of stronger carbonation. More dry in the finish. Nice, thick lace. Good big smoke aroma. Itís definitely pronounced and noticeable smoke, the way I like it. Nice chocolate, toasty malts. More sweet taste, overall. Lighter bitter. Solid, satisfyingly smokey smoked porter. Would love to try the imperial version.

Tap. Poured a dark brown color with an average frothy tan head that was mostly lasting and good lacing. Medium to heavy roasted malt, smoke wet wood aroma. Medium to full body with a smooth texture and flat carbonation. Medium to heavy smoke sweet flavor with a medium to heavy sweet finish of moderate to long duration. Solid beer that would go well with spicy food or cigar.

Draft to taster. Looks good; cola with foamy beige head that dissipates into lacing. Smells solid; dark malt and smoke with a bit of roast too. Tastes like it smells with some smoked ham notes. Pleasant on the palate. A good smoked porter.

On tap at BRGR in Cranberry, PA. First attempt at Fat Heads, and even though it wasn't the Fat Heads brew I ordered (very loud restaurant and/or ignorant bartender), I was not disappointed. They are not kidding when they call this beer "Up in Smoke" because you know how smoky the flavor is going to be as soon as you get a whiff. Still, it is not overwhelming and is surprisingly drinkable.
