COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Belgian Golden Strong Ale has flavors that hint at banana and bubblegum with a spicy phenolic finish provided by the Belgian Ardennes yeast. Belgian candy sugar dries the body of this beer making it fit for the gods.

Color similar to apple juice, no head. Much more bitter than i expected. Fruity aroma. Does have a spicy aftertaste as advertised. There are much much better beers in this style out there.

Golden orange in color... Aroma of Belgian candi sugar... Flavor is bubblegum sweetness, bananas and cloves initially which gives way to an alcohol warmth and spicy finish... Nice ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Sample at GABF 10/11/2012, thanks to Bluemeow76 for assistance with note-taking. Clear golden color with a medium white head that diminishes quickly. Short strings of lace. Aroma of malt, citrus and yeast. Medium to full body with a fruity character and notes of yeast, dark malt and spice. The finish is sweet with a yeast and banana aftertaste. Above average overall.

Rich gold color with little white head. Super flavorful belgian yeasts, light fruits, and great spices. This one was really good and a great price too.

On tap. Gold pour, small head. Banana, wheat, coriander, bubblegum in the aroma. Taste is the same, wheat, banana, dried fruit, slighty sour. Lighter carbonation.

A tasty rendition of a strong Belgian pale. Another great beer, really flavorful and damn strong.

Aroma: Brown sugar with hints of banana and bubblegum, but faint Appearance: Clear gold with a nice white head Taste: Medium sweetness balanced by a light sourness with an odd finish in the back of the mouth. Palate: Medium-full body, average carbonation, slick creamy texture, odd spicy finish Overall: This is a solid beer, but the aftertaste is odd. Dry and spicy, slightly minerally, but off somehow. I assume this is "phenolic," and if so, it doesnít work for me.

Draft sample. Poured clear light brown color with an average frothy off-white head that was mostly lasting with good lacing. Moderate to heavy banana, bubblegum, yeast and alcohol aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium complex fruit sweet flavor with a medium sweet finish of moderate duration. My expectations where met.

Zeus juice. Sampled at the source... Pours a mostly transparent middle if the road golden brown and topped with a creamy off-white head... Banana and dried fruits, mostly sweet, sugary. Not as deeply sweet aroma as the predessecor... Flavors are more of the same but with a rather prominent bitterness on the backend. Prickly semi-lively carbonation with a lighter body than expected. 7/3/6/3/12
