Bottle @ home, courtesy of my brother Justin. Thanks! Clear, golden yellow appearance with a white head. Bland grainy, corn, pale barley malty, grassy hoppy nose. Somewhat bitter, corny, grainy, bland flavor. More like a cream ale or an American Pale Ale without hops. Pretty shitty.

Aroma is some biscuit and some citrus, floral. Smells sweet, different. Appearance is golden brown, about as light as you would want to get with an amber. Clear with medium white head, large bubbles. Taste is heavy malty. Cloying. Mineral taste from water. No hops aroma and lacking proper bitterness to balance. No complexity. Alcohol present. Palate is medium full. Heavy. Bittersweet lingers. Falls flat. Overall not a pleasant beer. Like an American IPA with no hops to balance out the stong malt sweetness. Just a bad recipe IMO.

12oz bottle. Light pale color, some gold/orange with a white head. No Aroma. Where’s the smell. Fusel notes, full malt, light bitterness flavors. Seems to be well balanced. Is this a Malt Liquor? Interesting, to put the least. Fizzy carbonation, high ABV for an Amber Ale. Not very amber in color either. Way off center. Buy it cause it’s cheap and packs a decent buzz, definitly not for thq quality or character.

Apparently made of TJs. Explains the price and quality. Cheap but unmemorable.

Absolutely horrible! I can’t even describe the aroma. I really tried drinking this thing, but I just couldn’t stomach the whole bottle. Some nice citrus in the aroma, but this incredible urine aroma was almost covering it up. The color was a very uninspiring gold. The flavor was a little malty, a little grapefruit taste, but mainly the very bad urine factor going on. I guess I could’ve gotten a bad bottle, but I’m in no hurry to try another one of these.

Bottle split with Pwn3d, Pat, Ryguy and Belushi. Thank Christ himself that we split this 12 oz five ways. A pretty terrible beer. The Fat Weasel pours a clear yellow body. The aroma is extremely offensive with notes of pee and alcohol. The taste is actually not as bad as the aroma hints at, but its pretty horrendous.

With pat and Redmond. Smells awful, like tin. Taste is corn and alcohol.. Some sugars.

Tasted from bottle into nucleated pint glass. Poured a clear, light golden color (not amber) with weak head which immediately deflated, no lace. Harsh aromas of corn and alcohol, bad yeast esters, very faint skunky hops. Flavor was just as bad: bland malt and cream-of-corn. Seems just like a crappy gas-station malt liquor. The first really awful beer I’ve had from Trader Joe’s. Why do they offer this?
