3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 lb4lb (2026) - Austin, USA - JUL 7, 2007
Cloudy medium gold pour with quickly fading white head. Very nice aroma at 1st with a touch of malt, and fragrant hops, that turned malty and a bit overly yeasty and bready as it warmed. Taste is very balanced with a nice malt and hop presence with a touch of yeasty flavor coming in soon after all with a minimum bitterness. Very good and drinkable all around with a light hoppy finish.

Cardboard, corn , Kinda tastes like MGD. or what I remember of MGD. tried it once , won’t try again. If I had to choose over MGD, I would drink water. Also Mendocino brewing is not claiming this beer as one of theirs on their website. My bottle says brewed by River Trent in Ukiah, CA

Bottle givien to me by a friend cuz I "..like wierd beer..."
Poures a sllightly hasy yellow with a lively but quickly dissipating white head. Soft grain and cereal aroma wth a tough of hops. Flavor is bland and of corn and paper. A bit sweet and lacking any decent hops flavor. Goes down easy I suppose and OK if your thirsty.
2.5 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20 Bronzan (63) - Windsor, California, USA - JUN 16, 2009
Fairly weak for a pale ale. Definitely drinkable, but not the pale ale I’d choose most nights.

Poured from a bottle into a pint glass. Aroma is a bit weak and reminds me of cheap beer. A nice semi-opaque orange color. Starts out with a good, strong flavor, but it fades quickly into a kind of watered-down finish. It’s okay, but not great.
2.6 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 gorditoabd (489) - San Diego, California, USA - JUN 1, 2009
Pours a pale copper with a good bit of head. Aroma is almost non-existent, but what is there is mostly metallic and faintly bitter. Taste matches the aroma, starts out decently enough, with a light bitterness and hint of hops and malty sweetness. This fades pretty quickly, however, and just waters down to a residual coppery taste. There is something slightly unpleasant about the finish, which I suspect is just lower-end quality brewing. Not bad... just not very good.

Bottled. Not a very big nor complex APA but better than macro stuff. Just a really light and low alcohol beer that is fine for a really hot day outside.

Ya, doesn’t pack much of a punch at all. Just a faint hoppy note, and a bland bitterness and washed out mouthfeel at the end. Just not very enjoyable, especially from a style I normally love.
2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20 SamGamgee (2452) - down the whirlpool, California, USA - APR 24, 2008
12oz bottle. Surprised by how low this is rated; not a good apa really, but a drinkable beer regardless. Pours a light amber color with poor head retention. Sweet honey, caramel, and earthy, light hops in the aroma are barely noticeable. The flavor seems pretty sweet due to the light hopping, but is pretty light overall. Feels British leaning in character, with an earthy tea quality. Lacking american hop signature. The body is nice, with soft carbonation. Nothing offensive going on, but kinda lacks the flavor profile that I would expect in a good apa.
