3.2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
On tap at the brewery. Polished dark gold with low head and minimal lacing. Herbal hop and low alcohol aroma. Flavor is somewhat citrusy and herbal with an alcohol finish. Toasty malt comes through at the mid-palate and finish. A decent beer for a small brewpub. The anniversary single pale is quite a bit more interesting, however.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
32oz growler thanks to Ibrew2or3. Pours a chill hazed reddish amber. Thick, yellow head. Delicate lacing. Nose is rustic fresh malt, gristy. Taste is fairly nutty, lots of bitter Brazil nut, pretty raw/husky. Heavy lemon acid. Not much aroma hops going on. Body is lemony with some decent hoppiness, but it doesnít quite punch like a hop bomb or quench like an APA.

4.4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
Had at Flannys Annv party. More like an IPA than a Pale Ale. Over the top bitterness for a pale. Really think it should be called an IPA. Light caramel color. Hop forward.

4.5 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 19/20
Pours a rich orange. Nice, bitter finish. Intense hops. Definitely drinks more like an IPA than a pale, which I love.

Clear, orange amber. Medium white head, lasting with lots of lace. Sweet fruity hops. Citrus, grapefruit, caramel. Restrained sweetness and bitterness. Smooth with great balance. Extremely drinkable. Really liked this. Highly recommend.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Beautiful golden tangerine pour with hints of scarlet, garnet, and ruby. Tightly packed eggshell head that lasts indefinitely. Immense citrus presence with wallops of grapefruit pith, candied orange peel, and lemon zest. Quite bitter, which I was hoping for! Not a ton of Pine Sol, nor the malty backbone. This one is all bright, ripe citrus and Iím quite okay with that. Delicious!

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
On tap at Fate. It pours with a clear copper to gold body supporting a near white head of foam. The modest aroma offers up citrus and a touch of earthy malt sweetened up lime follow by a faint malty sense. The taste has a nice fairly crisp citrus hoppiness with a mild sweet malt backbone that gives it just the right depth. This offering seems to blur the line between Pale and IPA with its IPA body and firm hoppiness but it does have a solid degree of drinkability. I like this.
