Tap. The look is clear, a white head, light straw colored. The smell is corn, malt, grain, floral, and ok. The taste is the same with bread dough.

Pailhead (5097) - Brownstown, Michigan, USA - AUG 18, 2014
On tap: The aroma is very light and consists of some faint grain with a hint of grass. Itís a dull white gold with a one finger head that quickly fades to a thin film outlined by a slightly thicker ring. There is a good amount of thin webbing on the sides of the glass. The flavor starts with a hint of grain. The finish has very light grass with a hint of vanilla lemon. Itís light bodied with light-moderate carbonation. Overall, a very light summer thirst quencher...nothing exciting, but nothing offensive.

Caytinator (966) - Tucson, Arizona, USA - MAY 27, 2014
Pint on tap at the brewery. Clear yellow beer, no adhesion, small light head<---perfect for the style. What a light creamy taste, slighly pleasantly bitter, but balanced. It tastes lighter than 5.4%. Well done cream ale, this one is off the charts for the style, and you know what? It gets mad points.

Draft - Grains and euro skunk. Pale clear gold with a thin white head. Tastes just like it smells.

On tap at Fate. It pours with a crystal clear gold body that supports a nice bright white head. The aroma offers up spicy hops, a faint chili pepper note, some grainy malts and a nice sweet corn sensation. The taste is similar where there is an echo of the Hatch Chile Cream Ale with some faint peppery chili in there as well as grainy malts, a dash of biscuit and a pleasing hop forward spicy hoppiness. This has a load of flavor and plenty of meat for a little session beer.

FlacoAlto (3810) - Tucson, Arizona, USA - JAN 23, 2014
Arrives from the tap with a frothy, pale, just off-white colored head. The beer is a pale gold color that is brilliantly clear. The aroma has a light grainy quality to it, with perhaps a touch of a corn-like note, a bit of sweet, sun-toasted grain, still on the stalk type character, a bit of hay, and maybe just a hint of lemon-herbal hop character to it.

The beer has a light sweetness to it up front, but has a dry middle that has a straw like character, some pale cracker like grain, and that thin, beery like flavor of macro lager, albeit a chewy version, and with a soft accentuating fruitiness that hints at pear. There is a light herbal note here from the hops and the bitterness is light, but still noticeable. The body is quite light and definitely quaffable; it does have more texture than your typical macro lager / cream ale though.

This beer is exactly what it is trying to be, stylistically you canít argue with what is in the glass. This is a beer for macro-beer lovers, that have not discovered characterful beers yet, as such, it is a bit boring and bland for myself. I canít help but think that Fate has no need to brew a beer like this, there has got to be enough beer-oriented folks out there that business would not be hurting if they dropped this. Ferment this with a Dupont derived Saison yeast and you would have a killer beer ;)

Hanuta06 (355) - Washington, USA - JAN 12, 2014
Serving: from tap at Fate Brewing Company. Aroma: moderate floral hop Appearance: small, frothy, white, initial head with no lacing and fully diminishing longevity. Clear, light-yellow body. Taste: lightly bitter initial flavor and finish with average duration. Palate: light body with watery texture and lively carbonation. Overall: very good and easy to drink.

Light in character and light in body. Almost clear yellow appearance. Pleasant aroma held the very mild sweet taste that was not at all overbearing in any aspect. Itís aroma was simple and revealed nothing outstanding. Smooth beer and very drinkable with only a hint of bitterness in the palate. This a style I have some not so fond memories of from past experiences, but I found this example to be true to style and reasonable.

(Draught) Pours a clear yellow body with medium white head. Aroma of lemon, grass, and biscuit. Flavor of lemon, grain, and some soap with mild bitterness in the finish.

Draft at brewpub. Pours yellow and cloudy with a thin white head. Not much on the nose. Crisp and clean on the tongue with what I swear is a little Essence of corn somewhere. Finishes clean. Itís not an exciting style but its the perfect thing to have on a hot day which is every day here.
