Nitro pour. Ebony and capped by a half-finger head of dense nitro foam the color of the inside of a tree. In the nose: Bittersweet dark chocolate, a bit musty and old. Chocolate chips with the white dust on them. Cayenne pepper. Fate knows their way around peppers -- the heat on beers with capsaicin is noticeable but never overpowering, in perfect proportion to the other flavors and sensations. There’s no difference here; we have that same flavor of slightly sweet, slightly old chocolate chips balanced by a moderate heat that never oversteps its bounds. Tangy chocolate settles back in at the finish. Nitrogen gives this brew a creamy medium-full body with mild bubbles and moderate heat. The gas works well with the spice -- carbonation would make this thing too peppery. Not a complex beer, but a solid one for lovers of chocolate and heat. Perhaps the best balance of the two I’ve experienced.

Pours black with frothy tan head from nitro. Aromas of chocolate, vanilla, and cinnamon. Tastes same of the aromas with a medium heat from the chillies. Has a phenomenal creamy mouthfeel. Once again, Fate has killed it and lived up to their already high standards they have set. Amazing!

Nitro. Pours dark brown with a khaki head. Aroma is cinammon, vanilla, lactose and cocoa. Taste follows suit and is sweet and loaded with spice flavors. Creamy body. Another killer from Adam and Steve.

Nitro pour at the brewey, Black pour with a tan creamy head. Aroma is cinnamon and chocolate. Flavor is cinnamon spice and a nice chile burn with plenty of chocolate, vanilla and creamy goodness. This is phenomenal!

Wow. Fate strikes again. Dark brown pour creamy tan head. Chocolate and vanilla up front on the nose with a hint of cinnamon and chile peppers. Flavor hits the mark dead on. Cinnamon flavor is nice, cocoa, vanilla, lactose. Freaking awesome. Hell yes!
