At twisted pine. Pours a mostly clear but dark red brown. Half finger of fine tan head that settles quickly. Minimal lacing. Aroms is mild, hoppy, and fruity. Flavor is strange and muddled. Very sweet, fruity and malty up front, candied fruit. Really tastes kind of like candy. Mildly bitter hop finish. Combo of rye and hops isn’t working for me, neither flavor comes out cleanly. Soft carbonation, medium body, and smooth texture. A strange beer, not sure I will have it again but as always I am glad I gave it a shot.
