COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A mild coffee flavor and aroma that blends with the smooth and sessionable Kolsch Style ale perfectly.

Lightly hazed yellowish color, white head. The coffee plays very well with the light she crisp kolsch base beer. Biscuity malt, good coffee flavor, light hops. Good beer.

10 oz at the brewpub. Pours hazy light orange. Very nice fresh coffee bean nose, though not as powerful as I would expect on such a light bodied style. The flavor carries the genuine coffee, which I admit is an unusual compliment to the sort of vegetal base of the kolsch. I do not dislike it, it’s just a little weird. The finish is almost like coffee with celery flavored cream. Pretty neat beer.

Tap. Pours orange with white head. Aroma is strong of coffee, touch of citrus...mostly coffee. Has a dirtiness about the flavor, lots of coffee. kinda musty. Not a fan.

Deep straw color. Big coffee nose. Taste of green coffee, some wheat. Smelled nice but this just didn’t work for me.

Slightly hazy golden with a thin white ring of head. Aroma is incredible with bright floral and slightly chocolaty fresh roasted morning coffee. The flavor hits the spot right on, with bright floral coffee notes, a biscuity chewy graininess, and a gentle roastiness with blonde grains. Wonderful to see this style pulled off with coffee beans.

On tap @ Fate. Pours a bit hazy yellow appearance with a thin white head. Lemon, earthy coffee aroma. Slightly bitter, light corny, roasty, light butter flavor. Best Coffe Kölsch I’ve ever had.

On tap @ Fate. Golden pour with a white head. Nice fresh coffee aroma. A bit green. Some vanilla, sweet caramel, and popcorn. Nice toast, too. Sweet caramel and vanilla flavors. Sweet toast, popcorn, and chocolate. A bit of grass on the finish.

On tap at Fate. Pours a clear yellow orange with thin head, settles quickly with almost no lacing. The lightest colored coffee beer I have seen. Aroma is mild coffee. Flavor is mild coffee with a very mild malt finish. Tasty, drinkable, clean. Moderate carbonation, light body, and crisp texture. Quite good.

Draft at brewpub. I have to say I was skeptical of a coffee Kolsch but this is fucking fantastic. Pours yellow with a bit if a tint. Nice coffee notes on the nose without the overpowering roast you get with most coffee beers. Has a prominent but balanced coffee vibe own the tongue but finishes neat and clean like a Kolsch should. This beers definitely the highlight of my trip.

On tap at Fate poured a hazy gold with a small lingering ivory head. Aromas of coffee, bread and light earthiness. Palate was light bodied and crisp with a dry finish. Flavors of bread, coffee and light earthiness with a crisp dry lingering coffee finish.
