This beer is defined by its pronounced hop bitterness, flavor and aroma. It has a solid malt backbone that works with the citrusy American hops. The hop bouquet resonates like flavors of tangerine and ruby red grapefruit. The mouth feel is crisp and dry leaving a balance of bitterness and rich malt on the palate. It is golden honey in color.
Hops: Chinook, Columbus, Cascade, Summit, Eldorado, Amarillo

Tap @ Fate. Pours a bit hazy yellow orange appearance with a white head. Fairly snappy, spicy hoppy, mango tropical fruity hoppy aroma. Somewhat dank, grapefruit, tropical fruity, a bit piney hoppy flavor with a nice malty backbone. Solid stuff.

Growler thanks to jesse. Pours a hazy orange gold with a finger of fine white head. Decent retention and some thin lacing. Aroma is hoppy, piney, resinous, mildly citrus and spicy. Flavor is hoppy, resinous, piney. Soft carbonation, medium body, and smooth texture. Very drinkable. A smooth, citrusy, mellow hoppy ipa. (reviewed 3/26/13)

UPDATED: OCT 8, 2013 hazed gold body with a fine white head. strong American hop nose ( lemon / citrus, dried grass, a lot of floral character, light dish soap foam). medium-full body with high bitterness, a lot of hop alpha acids. moderate sweetness does little to balance the aggressive bitterness, but I prefer this to higher sweetness as the same bitterness. still it’s a bit too brash for my tastes, and the yeast seems to mute it all and wash out the hop flavor especially, but it also provides a softness to the body that helps. overall and fairly nice IPA -pale, not too sweet, mostly clean, and thankfully there’s little pine resin or oil orange hop character.

first taste was 3.5-level. second try is 2.6 (watery, pasty and a bit sour)
