COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION This beer is one of our lightest. The golden color comes from a blend of two row barley, soft northwestern wheat, and a touch of colored carastan malt from England. This beer is brewed in the cream style, which is meant to be brewed at 68 degrees F, then aged at colder temperatures much like German lagers. This is a traditional American style of brewing. Two types of hops make up the aroma profile. The strong floral note is due to an addition of dry hops in the fermenter as opposed to a kettle addition which is the standard method. The Golden Ale takes advantage of both styles of hopping. The body and the alcohol content are both light. The softness of the palate is due to the addition of wheat. We brew this beer during the warmer months.
