COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Served in a half liter glass which is specifically designed to show off itís color and aroma. The aroma is a product of the strain of yeast used during fermentation which is unique to Hefe Weizen. It produces natural flavors which have been described as banana, clove, bubble gum, plastic, band aids Everyone tastes and smells something different! The heavy addition of wheat ࿒%) softens the flavor of the beer and produces a lot of haze. Although lemon is usually served with a filtered version of this beer, we gladly grant anyone the request of lemon with our Hefe Weizen, although we do not normally do so. Faultline Brewing serves itís Hefe Weizen year round.

Koskela (301) - Marysville, California, USA - JUN 10, 2012
Typical hefe aroma, yeasty and citrusy along with that the color was again typical pale cloudy. The taste however not so typical, banana nut bread with a bit of citrus. The aftertaste was bananaee as well. The body was surprizingly light. Over all not bad

Draft. An unclear golden beer with a thin white head. The aroma has strong notes of wheat as well as lighter notes of banana. The flavor is sweet wheaty with light notes of bananas and cloves, leading to a dry wheaty finish. The body is light.

A pretty typical hefe. Slightly more wheaty and watery than clovey and bananay/bubble gummy.

On tap at the brewpub. Pours cloudy yellow with a citrus aroma (perhaps from the lemon wedge), and a decent white head. There is a substantial wheat flavor with plenty of sour yeast. A nice wheat beer.

Draught at the brewpub. Served with a comically huge lemon slice on the rim of the sample glass, despite the menu saying that "lemon served on request only." I guess that the bartender didnít get the memo on that one. The color is hazy gold and the head died as soon as the lemon juice got to it. I hate rating any beer with a serving addition, but this is the brewery, so thatís how they are presenting it. The aroma has expected weizen yeast character like banana and bubblegum , along with some lemon, though I took the fruit off as soon as I got the glass. The flavor has an obvious bubblegum fruity quality up front along with lots of ripe banana. Finishes tangy and lemony. Dry and well attenuated, though the body is a little too watery and lacks much wheat richness in the texture. Highly carbonated. Drinkable stuff for sure, but A little creamier texture would definitely help

Hazy bright yellow with almost no head. Banana bread aroma and taste with mild clove notes and a watery finish.
