Draft. An unclear golden beer with a thin white head. The aroma has strong notes of wheat as well as lighter notes of banana. The flavor is sweet wheaty with light notes of bananas and cloves, leading to a dry wheaty finish. The body is light.

On tap at the brewpub. Pours cloudy yellow with a citrus aroma (perhaps from the lemon wedge), and a decent white head. There is a substantial wheat flavor with plenty of sour yeast. A nice wheat beer.
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 SamGamgee (2452) - down the whirlpool, California, USA - JUN 23, 2010
Draught at the brewpub. Served with a comically huge lemon slice on the rim of the sample glass, despite the menu saying that "lemon served on request only." I guess that the bartender didn’t get the memo on that one. The color is hazy gold and the head died as soon as the lemon juice got to it. I hate rating any beer with a serving addition, but this is the brewery, so that’s how they are presenting it. The aroma has expected weizen yeast character like banana and bubblegum , along with some lemon, though I took the fruit off as soon as I got the glass. The flavor has an obvious bubblegum fruity quality up front along with lots of ripe banana. Finishes tangy and lemony. Dry and well attenuated, though the body is a little too watery and lacks much wheat richness in the texture. Highly carbonated. Drinkable stuff for sure, but A little creamier texture would definitely help

Had on tap. Served on the patio very hazy deep yellow with a nice head. Aroma was very citrusy. Had this with a lemon slice. First sip, the bananna and cloves over well you, but start to subside at mid glass. A little too sweet, but a real thrist quencer
