My comments of tasting a cask conditioned version of the IPA (Yup, I luv cask conditioned beers) Appearance Nice golden color with a touch of haze from the dry hopping. For a cask-conditioned beer has a nice bit of lace on the glass Aroma Being cask-conditioned has a wonderful aroma of cascade hops yielding to a sweet malty bacground Flavor Served at the right temp for a cask-conditioned beer, starts of with nice malty flavor to be immediately followed by hop flavor and then the bitterness. Finshes off nice and dry. Since it is cask conditioned the malt background shows through well making it delightful Palate A very good beer from an excellent brewer. Seems to have a slightly higher final gravity for an IPA. I like that that for an IPA does not have a tongue numbing bitterness.

Decent IPA, not Faultline’s best beer though. Slightly less flavour than some comparable beers.

Not a bad IPA, but nothing that’ll knock your socks off. Not too heavy, not too light. Very citrusy hop aromas and flavors. Pleasant mouthfeel. Would definitely order it again.

Draft. A golden-amber beer with a thin beige head. The aroma has notes of hops and grass. The flavor is sweet with grassy notes of hops, leading to a dry and bitter finish.

Sample at the brewpub on 8/10/10. Clear gold pour with a thin white head. Citrusy hop aroma with a touch of sweet malt. Flavor is citrusy hops that also have a bit of tropical fruit character and a bit of malt before a grapefruit finish.

A little more bitter than your avg ipa but not a hop bitter but like a sour bitter. Still considering how mutedandwatery the othe faultlines were this did have more hops and was better than I expected. Some fruity citrus is prominent. Not much carbonation or head.

On tap at the brewpub. Pours clear copper with a decent off-white head and a floral aroma. There is an excellent caramel malt base with some subtle tasty hop bitterness.

Draught at the brewpub. Gold with a small white head. Big, expressive fruity hop aroma with lots of peach and pine. The flavor starts out with a light caramel malt sweetness, and transitions into a peach, tangerine, and pine hop flavor. Bitter, but not harsh finish. Medium body with good carbonation. Lots of fruity hop flavor. Nice stuff.

Clear golden with a fizzy white head. Grapefruit pine and mild marijuana aroma. Bright palate and a very nice grapefruit and caramel taste layered with citrus and a pleasant bitterness.

On tap at the brewery, this beer is suprisingly low on bitterness and high on flavor and aroma for an IPA. Extremely fresh and tasty, I definately went back for another beer. Very well balanced IPA.

On tap. Clear amber golden with an off-white head. Lightly citrusy hop aroma. Medium body, sweet caramel and fruit. Discreet bitterness. I wonder if they are afraid of hops at Faultline? 250709
