hophead_hans (583), Bay Area, California, USA Jul 20, 2007 POurs with the requisite starw color. Light bodied, not much of an aroma.
A bit metallic and a bit grainy, tastes clean, a good representation of the style. CaptKirk (175), Hephzibah, Georgia, USA Aug 10, 2006 One of the cleanest beers I have had. I am personnaly not much on this style, but when in Rome...Clean fresh finish. I enjoyed this dry flavorful brew. luv_casks (176), USA May 27, 2006 Low malt aroma with a low noble hop aroma with some faint soft fruit like notes
Straw gold and brilliant, pours with a delicate white head which dissipates quickly
Flavor: Very clean and malt forward followed by hint offruity flavors (like melons/pears), slightly lemon like medium bitterness well restrained
Palate: medium low carbonation, clean with a semi-dry finish
Overall: A very good representation of a Kolsh.... excellent choice on a warm sunny day the soft malt beginning and clean semi dry finish makes it easy going and great with light foods yum! Ale_Drinker (1073), Sunnyvale, California, USA Nov 16, 2005 Nice light-colored, light-bodied ale. Mellow aromas of straw. Dry flavor. Finishes clean. beerguy101 (3488), Newark, California, USA Aug 17, 2004 Light yellow gold color. Medium white foamy head. Aroma is malty, grainy and grassy. A medium bodied Kolsch. Malts are fruity and sweet. Hops are crisp and lightly bitter. Nicely balanced. The hops are just crisp enough to balance the malt sweetness. Crisp and clean. Light and refreshing. Dry finish. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is crisp and dry. Aftertaste is slightly sweet.
