COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The FBC Pale Ale is a cross between two styles. The caramelized malt tones and the lower carbonation levels are in the English style, and the bitterness and color are more American. The aroma is derived from a blend of British hops, which gives the beer a fine rounded aroma. The British hops are far less assertive than their American counterparts, which lead to a more agreeable aroma profile for a British Pale Ale.

Draught at the brewpub. Dark gold to amber color with a white head. Nice earthy ansd spicy English hop aroma with some underlying toasty malt. The flavor has a light toasted malt character, snappy earthy hops, a touch of fruit, and a mild caramel sweetness. Hoppy, but well balanced by the malt flavors. Medium-light body with medium carbonation. I dug this overall. Follows the balance of an APA, but with a nice English malt and hop character.
