Jahrgangsbock 2012 - 75cl bottle pour@Braukunst Live ’15 - FR. Honey and pear syrup in aroma turn into well-defined bready caramels, with subtle hints of toast, butterscotch, fruit. Bit soggy yet dry, well drinkable.

Vintage 2011 (Flasche nr 439) Krachla ale 0,75, niestety plastikowa ale rekompensuje przewieszka i elegancka etykieta. W smaku karmelowo daktylowe, nieco syropu klonowego. Slodkawe to piwo jest, no ale w koncu to rasowy doppelbock. Niestety niewielka piana, male wysycenie i brak osadu. Ale ogolnie fajne wrazenia. Powiem szczerze ze po opakowaniu sadzilem ze bedzie powalajace, ale bylo dobre. Sadze ze starzenie mu nie sluzy.

Bottle #745/879 - thank you very much (you know who you are)! The aroma is dark fruits, sweet. The taste is slightly metallic with a strong dark fruit taste. Nice, would be great without the metallic undertones...

It’s a hazy, dark red copper with a creamy head. The aroma has notes of caramel, ripe and over ripe fruits, biscuit, bread, burnt sugar and light cocoa. The flavor is sweet with notes of caramel, ripe and over ripe fruits, bread, burnt sugar, and the alcohol is well hidden in this soft and pleasant bock.

0.75 l bottle, thanks Timo A! Slightly hazy dark amber color, gushes a little. Sweet caramel and bread aroma with some cherry like tartness, overripe plum and hint of glue. Sweet bready, caramelly and raisiny flavor with resiny maltiness and some tart cherry. Alcohol is fairly soft but there some other weird glue like notes. Full body. Tastes aged but not in a best possible way.

750 ml bottle, thanks Timo A. 2007 vintage. Pours a ruby amber colour with a white head. Aroma of cranberries, muffins, syrup, wort and grains. Flavour of metals, syrup, grains, cranberries, wort and grass. Medium bodied, slick mouthfeel and low carbonation. Sweet malty finish. Not at it’s best anymore I think.

75 cl bottle (2007 vintage) @ Timo A. Bottle No. 1108/1215.
Pours clear mahogany-copper color with a minimal head. Aroma of nuts, or nut-shell actually, some vanilla, ripe fruits, distant dark berries and some wheat notes, grain, mild bread also. Flavor of bread, syrup, ripe fruits, hay, faint wooden notes and caramel malts. Medium carbonation, somewhat harsh malty palate. Still quite nice, a bit stuffy though.
