Geruch nach Honig und hefig. Süßlich, wie eine Blumenwiese. Der Geschmack geht auch in Honigrichtung und ist sehr Restsüß. Schmeckt ein bisschen nach Apfelsaft.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
It’s hazy golden with a white head. The aroma has notes of grain, malt, fruit and hints of caramel or burnt sugar. The flavor has a light to moderately sweetness with notes of grain, malt, fruit, hay, light straw and caramel, and the finish is fairly dry.

4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
Serving: from tap at Brauereigaststätte Schlappeseppel.
Aroma: lightly perfumy hoppy.
Appearance: large, frothy, off-white, initial head with good lacing and fully diminishing longevity. Hazy, dark-yellow body.
Taste: lightly sour, citrusy, initial flavor and lightly bitter, lemony, yeasty finish with short duration.
Palate: light body, oily texture and soft carbonation.
Overall: Very good. Excellent appearance and palate. Unique, complex flavor. I’d like to drink this again.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
[Bottle at the Bootlegger, High Wycombe] Pours a slightly hazy gold with a moderate white head. Strong biscuit taste throughout - a mix of digestives and malted milk - which is odd but quite nice and comforting. Some wheatiness too, and a late-arriving kick of sour lemon to balance the biscuit. Unusual, interesting and rather enjoyable.

1.6 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 5/20
50cl bottle from Hopfen & Malz, Berlin. – Golden colour. This beer is not "naturtrüb", as the label claims, but nearly clear. – Aroma of syrup with some plastic notes (the label speaks of "honey fragrance"). – Taste is sweet and syrupy with notes of apricots or rather apricot jam. Overall, an artificial sweetness dominates, helped by weak carbonation. Towards the end, some weak hops. The finish is faintly bitter but without proper hop aromas. The overall impression is quite unpleasant. Definitely too sweet, too one-dimensional and not enough hops.
