Bottle, 5.5%. Plastic aroma. Hazy golden colour, very small white head. Sour plastic flavour. Plastic mouthfeel. WTF?

The flavour is creamy, yeasty, sour but also chemical. Not really good, i don´t like it. -/4/5/4/-/4

Pours pleasantly deep gold colour with thin head with moderate retention. Aroma crisp and plenty of yeast and breadiness without descending into sickly. Perhaps a touch over-carbonated, but the flavour is a very appealing classic Germanic lager style, nice and steely with a touch of sweetness. Perfectly nice drinking.

Bottle at home, thanks FaithHealer1! Pale yellow/amber, thick bubbly head dies down leaving some lacing. Nose is nice crisp lager grains, some butterscotch, some lemon hops. Sweet bready front, little oversweet perhaps, hint of butterscotch and a light peppery finish. Not bad at all.

Bottle at Dan’s, from North Bar. Pours a pissy yellow, with a finger of head. Aroma is a good lager nose, bready, a little hoppy. Taste corresponds, with a nice thick mouthfeel. Clean finish. I like it.

never had a better Pilsener in my limited life...well a few years experience...Not always happy with the combination of hop varieties, water, etc in these styles and I might only just try this because it is German, and German beer rocks, but there is a hidden element to this beer that shines far above any other. The added Kräusen aspect must do something with the flavour to push it beyond me superlatives. Its currently in North Bar, Leeds at £5 so tuck in while you’ve got a chance...

Bottle. Golden colour with a white head. Aroma is fruit, grass, malt. Flavour is sweet, malt, hop, apple, fruit, grass. OK beer.

Getreidiger Antrunk, dazu kommt ein merkwürdiges Aroma, dass sich während des gesamten Trinkprozesses hält, es erscheint leicht bitter, vor allem aber faul. Ich werde doch wohl kein schlechtes Exemplar erwischt haben? Sofern man dieses Aroma übersehen kann dominiert der Hopfen im Mittelteil, im Nachgeschmack die Herbe. Außerdem in beiden Teilen würzig. So, genug, dieses faule Aroma bringt mich noch um! Neutest bei Gelegenheit! Test vom 25.1.2007, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 9,5,6,5,8,5 - 5,70

Fin sødme og godt balansert med humle. Et øl som gjerne kan drikkes på nytt, men jeg går ikke langt for å finne den!
