Aug 24, 2006 (swing top bottle) Clear, amber colour with a mid-sized off-white foamy head. Sweet toast-malty aroma with caramel and a subtle nutty-fruity background. Sweet flavour, toasted malty taste, slightly nutty with a touch of caramel; light to medium body, medium carbonated mouthfeel; dryish, malty, slightly smoked and nutty, moderately bitter finish. Nice one.

May 31, 2006 Dark brown beer, thick tan head, sticky lace. Aroma is quite malty, dark molasses, toast, clean malts, toasted and nutty maltiness. Short watery finish but the malts are quite nice. Light molasses.
