3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Hazy amber-gold with huge pillowy top. Yeasty, soft citric aroma, clean and refreshing nose of good wheat. Medium bodied, soft wheat character, simplistic in concept. Medium short finish.

2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 9/20
Head not as persistent as usually in weizens. Yeasty aroma. Bananas? Yes but slightly rotten plus caramelized almonds and some lacquer. Very weak on the palate. Little of flavors one would expect from a weizen. Tastes like a watery lager with dry sourness in the finish. Probably the worst weizen I have tried so far.

UPDATED: SEP 13, 2005 This is a hefeweizen style beer, brewed in Germany by Herrnbau Gmbh for Polish Jurand brewery who distribute the beer in Poland. It is a nice, Franziskaner-like beer, with a similar harsh flavour. The head is less persistent than in other hefeweizens, the smell is alright. Overall, a fine beer - not the best of the type but definitely satisfying.
