A very watery body. Sweet, but not a good sweet. I would not recommend this beer.

Pretty terrible beer. Watery with a creamed corn taste and a metallic aroma. Has an unpleasant acidic bite at the beginning that refuses to mellow out. Drank this with Jess on our tour of Dubrovnik’s old city walls (Jan, 2012)
1.1 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 4/20 omhper (15960) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - NOV 5, 2011
Bottled, thanks Marko! Clear copper colour, brief head. Heavy on compost and boiled vegetables. Sweetish with hard, sloppy mouthfeel. Fruity stale pea soup flavour. No bitterness. Miserable.
1.6 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20 ogivlado (4444) - Zagreb, CROATIA - OCT 26, 2011
Bottled 200ml. -from local Konzum supermarket. What a stupid bottle, two sips and it’s allready empty. Artificial amber coloured, medium sized off-white head, sweetish and light grainy nose with hint of metal. Weak malty, light bready and grainy with short watery finish. Like bottle like beer.
2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 luttonm (962) - Belgrade, SERBIA - OCT 9, 2011
.2l bottle, third Favorit beer sent by Heavy. Caramel lager body, Rose like with light foamy head. Brown sugar, weak nose. Taste is overly sweet note over wattery weak body. There are hints of something dark or roasty, but no, not really. like soy sauce dropped in water. weak and weird
1.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20 heavy (1490) - Split, CROATIA - OCT 9, 2011
0.2 l bottle. It poured brownish body with small ivory head. Caramel, grainy and bready aroma. Flavor was worse, weak, caramel notes are almost completely killed by corny acidity. Hay and other grainy notes are also very strong. Thin in body, but still finished ugly acidic. Tasted like a bad pale lager, and as such reminds me to another Croatian beer, which was also colored with E150 until recently, when luckily changed recipe to real dark beer. Back to this beer summary, it’s complete fail, it’s not even truly red and it tastes worse than their light beer!
2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 Marko (3115) - Split, CROATIA - SEP 26, 2011
0.2l bottle from a SuperKonzum in Zagreb. Tiny head that went away fast. Dark amber body, clear. Strange meat & fruit juice nose, not as bad as it sounds, not good. Light sweetish, slightly corny & fruity (and not bad in that aspect) grainy little dry lager - some run of the mill corny smooth creamy sweetness, ashy hints of a bitterness that never gets formed. Creamy, slightly acidic from the hop.. Obviously a coloured pale lager. Not a terrible pale lager, not a good one. Not much chance of success because the taste isn’t anything new and hardly good enough to attract people. The 0.2l bottles don’t help. This is NOT the way you make red beer you twats! We’ve heard rumors of this in the last year or so, hoped for something interesting, but interesting is something BUP just doesn’t seem to be able to do. A shame really, a proper red lager on the Croatian market could be a huge success!
