Can, Croatia Air flight to Zagreb. Oh lordy this was piss poor. Nasty metalliic tang. Lacking in all departments. Not a great introduction to Croatian beer.

330ml bottle at the traditional cafe Gradska Kavana in the old city of Dubrovnik. Thin, white head. Clear, golden body. Mix of grass and malt in aroma. Bittersweet fruits (lemon and peaches) in tase. Rounded palate. Rather metallic impression. Refreshing after a long walk on the walls surrounding this beautiful city (25.08.2008).

Draught and canned in Umag, Croatia. Quite full aroma, sweet fruit, peaches, with some underlying red grapefruit bitterness. Well, it is a pale Euro lager, but it is very drinkable on a hot day!

330ml tin. At least it forms a generous, fluffy head of suds. Butterscotchy aroma of pale malts, cereals, sweet grassy hops (way back in mix). Anaemic and pencilly with grain and watery noble hops. No incentive to finish this one- it has a dominant note of stale cardboard and licked envelope.
