1 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 3/20
Geez, this is the worst beer I have ever tried.
Alcohol mixed with a malty nastiness all throughout. Stay away.....far away.

1.1 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 4/20
Pours clear gold, aroma is an extremely dull roasted malt with a jab of skunked hops and earth. Lots of carb but the head sits still. Flavours have traces of malts and hops but piles of cheap corn syrup action. Alcohol is hidden well considering there is no flavour. Overall, it tastes pretty bad. Finish is cloying to say the least. It's so sweet.

4.4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
UPDATED: APR 3, 2004 I really like this beer. It is easy to carry on a bicycle inexpensive, tasty, easy to open, and packs a whallop. It doesn't take up much space in the fridge either. I highly recommend this beer. This beer really shines is when it is served with spicy food such as texas chili.

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Yellow beer wiht a sweet alcoholic nose. Sweet in mouth with not enough hops and lots of alcohol. Tasted blind, it had a bit more "body" than Crest (LOL)

0.8 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 3/20
I gave this beer a 3 simply because it is going for a higher alcohol content which is going to naturally hurt its chances of having a great taste. However, it is a pale, yellow, unappealing color and it tastes terrible. not even worth trying.

My friend had a 1 l can of this of this crappy beer. The other raters writes "rocketfuel!" in their ratings. I must agree. Golden with no head. Alcohol, diesel, speed with some sour notes in aroma. Alcoholic and grainy flavour. It really pissed me of.

UPDATED: NOV 5, 2005 Lighter fluid? Liquid propane? Oh, I know... gasoline. Seriously, the high alcohol content of Faxe 10% was just too much. It really does suck.

They don't go out of their way to hide the alcohol. Grainy, not so sweet, just rocket fuel in a can. Don't smoke.

1 liter can The strength of this beer is it's most notable attribute, being in all other areas variously underwhelming. It's not terrible, I will admit, having just had some rather nasty experiences with other (cheap!) high-test beers. Looks quite intimidating in a massive square-shouldered can. I think it beats out most of the swill that gets passed off as commercial beer here in the states. But that's not saying much... Not stupidly malt-sweet, as I was expecting, but with a dirty, sour bitterness that earmarks it as cheap grain liquor.
