Canette 500ml.

I just made amber ale from a kit and it was far better than this. I have no real comments as there is not much going on I this beer, other than the great colour. My wife who is not a beer drinker actually liked it because it was so light and muted. Those of us expectIng amber flavour are appalled. JSJ

Very disappointing. I always expect something special when a beer has a little colour to it. An almost flavourless lager. Coors Light has more flavour than this one. Skip it.

Low aroma of malt sweetness, no hops. Pours deep amber with a bit creamy white medium top, foam layer stays for long, good residue on glass. Middle sweet taste with low bitterness, no roast or toast, light caramel. Medium body with lively carbonation an light bitterness afterpath, a bit sour. Overall drinkable lager with good body, no unpleasant aspects, but to be really well done - must have some notable tones.

500ml can I find myself going back to this one fairly often, I’m not sure why. I guess there’s just not many ambers you can buy in singles, and this one is always so readily available. Pours a nice dark copper with a generous head that fades to minimal lacing. As ambers go, this one is weak, and lacks complexity. There’s some mellowness in there, but like most Faxe products I’ve had, it’s hard to identify what you’re supposed to like in this beer.

Can. Light brown colour, with thick foam. sweeter barley flavor and taste of roasted barley. This beer you drin once and that’s enough.

Can. Bronze body, minimal head. Aroma has weak butterscotchy caramel - it’s weak but not bad.Taste does not follow up - sadly it’s very diluted. Weak taste of caramel, grains and not much else. Tastes weaker than some pale lagers.

Clear orange, tan head. Nose is corn, vague malt, caramel hints. Taste is more corn and vague malt with weird caramel notes. Industrial hops in the finish. Pretty nasty.

500ml can - a curse from, and upon, Marduk!
Initially a sweet caramelly aroma atop a crappy lager. But later something more like gents loos takes over. Fortunately it’s just a tasteless beer, rather than tasting like the floor of the blokes loos. Not that I know what that tastes like. Generally a poor quality beer Drying metallic finish. Want to scrape my tongue.
