Can. Pours light golden-amber with a white head. Dryish, slightly malty aroma with fruity and sourish notes. Flavour is sweetish with notes of raisins. Hops as well. Small bitterness. Slightly watery finish. 22-06-06.

From a tall can this light amber coloured beer has an aroma of light malts and lots of corn. Flavour tastes corny as well and rather sweet. Some hops finish out the drink but overall I didn’t care for this one.

50cl bottle, Toronto. Lively head that completely disappears. Light amber colour, some malty aroma. Sweet malty flavour, a hint of bitterness, smooth finish.

500 ml can from LCBO. Pours a clear light amber with small white head. Sweet grains and hint of caramel malt and grassy hops in the aroma. Flavour is grainy and metallic, with some definite bitterness. Decidedly mediocre.

Amber, with an off white head. Aroma is caramel, malt, and corn. Flavor is much the same. Rather ordinary.

Bright caramel golden colour with a fizzy white head. Sweet malty nose with hints of grass and cardboard. Wow, this body is incredibly thin and dry, a very quick bitterness at the front and then a mouthsucking dryness. Drainpour.

Deep amber brown. No head. Faint scent of caramel? Not too sweet. Fairly watery. Slightly metallic-bitter on the palate. Little aftertaste. Not too bad, but nothing special.

1/2 liter Euro-can. Poured a crystal clear very light amber-gold beer into my stem glass.2 finger chunky cap that reduces quickly to nothing...,NO lacing of the glass...assertive carbonation ( This is the tip off of a malt/dextrose extract syrup high gravity beer) Aroma: light grains with a very light caramel sweetness soft, stale grassyness. Weak malt spine, watery mouth feel. Light liquid body and semi-harsh character. Starts with caramel sweetness with no detectable hop balance very watery...midway some stale hop additive is detected...fast finish.. sweet, some harshness in after taste... ..probably the least objectionable of the FAXE dextrose extract lagers but this type of high gravity extract-brewed beer always tastes lifeless, stale and too sweet to me. This is the type of crap Steelback makes on this side of the ocean...I see no need to import more from Denmark. .

Clear sparkling amber with a large frothy white head, this brew had very little in the aroma department. Decent malt character with a balanced hop profile, and a lightly tangy finish. Hop bitterness is quick and sharp, but not fruity.

Tranquillity (1373) - Amsterdam, NETHERLANDS - MAY 18, 2006
This one pours with a very even, tough dirty-coloured head which disappears quickly. The colour is dark cupper. Absolutely no arome whatsoever, except for a slight hint of absinthe. The flavors are rich and strong for being a lager. Toffee, caramel, very sweet. The aftertaste is long and perfect on a hot summer afternoon. A very good thirst quencher.
