2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 sheatripper (863) - Brooklyn, New York, USA - AUG 9, 2006
One-liter oil can. Deep amber color with quickly dissolving off-white head. Aroma of malt, honey and leather. Flavor was basically off-sweet malt with some hoppiness but with kind of a chemical or metallic aftertaste. Nothing special except for the big-ass can, which would be handy for a tailgate or train ride.
1.9 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20 cards04 (821) - Steinbach, Manitoba, CANADA - JUN 18, 2012
pours a caramel colour. Smells of faint grain and caramel....similar flavours follow. Thin and watery finish. Not a great amber.
2.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 tsarman (794) - Northern, New Jersey, USA - APR 22, 2008
1 Liter can. Drank it frozen cold. These huge cans are odd--look like a can of beans. These must be the 40s of Denmark. Well, back to the actual beer. Drinkable. Light tasting. Wasn’t a drain pour. Kind of watery. Nicely carbonated, not painful.
1.4 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 10/20 voota (765) - Melbourne, AUSTRALIA - SEP 29, 2006
Clear dark golden with an off white head with terrible retention. Very sweet aroma of malt, some slight citrus and herbal hops. The body is thin, with some weak toffee and little else. Weird buttery finish.
2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 thirstyrabbit (719) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - OCT 20, 2012
Can. Bronze body, minimal head. Aroma has weak butterscotchy caramel - it’s weak but not bad.Taste does not follow up - sadly it’s very diluted. Weak taste of caramel, grains and not much else. Tastes weaker than some pale lagers.
2.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 10/20 gilvanblight (678) - Windsor, Ontario, CANADA - AUG 13, 2007
Honyish scent. A bit of nut. Typical head. Redish tint. Watery with a bit of nuts and malt. Not bad, not great but not bad.
2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20 wilderthanyou (666) - Guelph, CANADA - DEC 20, 2010
Pours a clear amber colour (shocking, i know) with a short lived white head. The aroma is standard grains, malts, grassy hops, a bit of tin. The flavour is an almost exact reflection of that.
1.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20 Lagerboy (665) - British Columbia, CANADA - APR 13, 2013
Clear light copper, foaming off white head fades to an oily film. Vague sweet malt aroma. Sour-ish corny carmel infused malt taste, some citric bitterness. Softly carbed, light bodied, low hopped. Thin slick soft finish. Probably tastes better straight from the can. Danish industrial swill. LBW (Lagerboys Be Wary)
3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 MrRoss (646) - Delta, British Columbia, CANADA - JUL 17, 2009
This one, poured from a can with no tinniness, lived up to the name with a nice amber colour and a generous foamy, off-white head. Aroma was nicely malty as was the taste.
