Look this is basically an imported forty without the high alcohol. It was decent but definately not as good as the premium. It had a bright copper appearance not much hops on the nose or in the flavor but worth trying.

Auburn copper body with off white head. Faint grainy aroma. Taste is toasty malts with a bitter aftertaste though pretty basic subdued and boring. Okay.

Can- Pours a strange orange colour that isnít really amber. White froth sits a top and leaves minute lace. Aromas are mailny matyl caramel with soome bready notes as well. Sweet, and thin malts come through in the taste. This isnít bad, and Iím suprised it doesnít have more ratings due to itís availability.

1 Liter can. Drank it frozen cold. These huge cans are odd--look like a can of beans. These must be the 40s of Denmark. Well, back to the actual beer. Drinkable. Light tasting. Wasnít a drain pour. Kind of watery. Nicely carbonated, not painful.

500 ml can from LCBO, served cold in a tulip glass.
App.: Clear amber (go figure!) with a nice off-white foam.
Aroma: Sweet, slightly bright and fruity, touches of citrus, soap and flowers, a little like dish soap, actually, some decent malt aromas as it warms...light brown sugar, slightly nutty, restrained caramel/toffee, cereal/grain lager smells too, though.
Palate: Medium body, sparse carbonation.
Flav.: Decent caramel/toffee malts, slightly nutty with hints of brown sugar, none of the grain/cereal lager flavours, hints of grassy, slightly dank hops, a sorta bright/metallic note; dry with weak bitterness and a nondescript finish.
Meh. Not as bad as expected.

Pours a clear amber colour (shocking, i know) with a short lived white head. The aroma is standard grains, malts, grassy hops, a bit of tin. The flavour is an almost exact reflection of that.

a little bit of a malty smell, common in an amber. I am a fan of amber ale and this one is definitely up there, but not what I expected from an imported beer
