caledonian (365), Ottawa, Ontario, Canada Aug 8, 2006 Can. Light caramel aroma. Very thin feel. Flavor isn’t bad. Better than a North American macro, but otherwise an average brew.
Slipstream (430), USA Nov 20, 2008 Nice liter can. Light amber pour with a large, fluffy head. Mild aroma of Czech hops and grass. Fairly light, dry flavor with a little sweetness and malt. The hops come thru clearly, especially in the finish. Like its sister (the premium), this is a well-priced, sessionable import. It is surprising that they can charge this little for a Danish brew. NJBeerman013 (622), Trenton, New Jersey, USA Oct 16, 2008 BIG can - Pours a copper penny in color with a rapidly fading head. The aroma is a bit sour.. almost metallic. The flavor is a bit flat without a whole lot going on. There is a bit of a malty character. The body is a bit on thin side. The finish is kind of funky, again with a metallic note. rodenbach99 (472), Longueuil, Quebec, Canada Oct 13, 2008 canette de 500ml, bière cuivrée pale, petite touche caramélisé qui la distingue d’une bière blonde, si non c’est la même chose. xibalba89 (120), New York, New York, USA Sep 15, 2008 It’s supposedly an amber beer, but the flavor was non-existent, basically making it another form of budweizer. Skip it. KingKnuckles (14), Bronx, New York, USA Aug 3, 2008 Wow, I bought a 1 liter can at a wholefoods in NY for $2.99. Slight caramel aroma, especially when i opened the can. sort of bready grain and corn taste. Overall its in a cool 1 liter can, but nothing special. the only reason i would buy it again is to try and shotgun the whole can in one shot!
