Ølet er brygget av Hansa Borg bryggerier i Bergen og er en del av den såkalte ølkrigen som er startet mellom de store bryggeriene.

33 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden yellow with a shortlived white head. Aroma is classic faxe: slight sweet cornish with a light cornish acidic note. Flavour is sweet caramel malty followed by a distinct acidic bitterness and housecharacter. Smooth and fruity finish.

Many, many years ago this little chubby beer was a favourite of mine, but I haven’t tasted it in many years now. The head is moderate, the color is straw and the aroma is slightly hoppy with metallic notes. The flavour is mild with a nice bitterness. It’s a very ordinary and inoffensive pilsner...

Can. Head was average frothy white that was mostly diminishing. Slight lacing in glass. Body was clear light sparkling with a yellow hue. Aroma was corn, grain, straw and light hops. Light bodied with a thin texture and a soft carbonation. Flavor was light balanced between the sweet and the bitter notes. Light sweet finish.
