(1L can) Clear golden straw with very little head. Aroma is grassy hops and some sweet malt. Medium light body with some slight syrupy oiliness to it. Modest carbonation. Taste is sweetish malt, grainy with some fruity sweetness and some metallic hop bitterness in finish. Inoffensive with food, but not a great beer.

2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20 Rune (6120) - Tromsø, NORWAY - MAY 9, 2013
1000ml can from Vinmonopolet, Langnes, shared with Finn. Clear, golden-straw coloured body. Fine lacing rings down the glass from a diminishing white head. Lager aroma of pale malts added by dried fruits. Taste of grassy hops and grain. Some bitter, hoppy endnotes. Soft carbonated. Medium minus bodied. On par with the style. Alright as a partner to our pizza (at Finns, Tromsø 08.05.2013).

DP.
1.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 7/20 ALLOVATE (2098) - Butler, AUSTRALIA - MAY 8, 2013
Out the ever classy 1 litre can that looks like a kick back to 70’s Europe. The beer does look the part in the glass. Bright, medium gold with fine, streaming carbonation and topped off by a sloppy white foam. Sweet, malty, vegetal and somewhat eggy nose with just a hint of metal shards and chaff. Soapy, thin and yet drabby on the palate. Low hops, metallic and just a little chemical in the finish. Light malt seems complacent. Watery for taste otherwise. Lacking, well anything at all! (1L can, BB 31/01/14, Dan Murphy’s Currambine)

1.4 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 6/20 lesifflebiere (429) - Montréal, Quebec, CANADA - MAR 5, 2013
