High spirited & hoppy, Loki Red Ale is brewed with a generous helping of Tomahawk & Galena hops and a distinct brown malt background which provides a great complexity of taste

Great beer. Comes in a "tall" can, which makes it a good bargain. Seriously, any beer that is inspired by Viking folklore is automatically a winner.

On tap @ Tippe & Drague. Pours dark reddish amber with thin white head. Aroma is roasty caramel malt, lightly sweet. Taste is bracingly bitter malt! Once that fades, nice nutty caramel malt flavor shows up. A bit burnt on the finish, though that may just be the bitterness lingering. I think it’s the Tomahawk hops that crank the bitter up so much here. I’m new to Fearless, and will try them again, but this one is out of balance.

Poured from a 1 pint can- great thick creamy head on top hazy dark red appearance. Dropped points for predominant bitter flavor. But there is a good malty flavor in there- Aroma is a vague malty rose. 7.3 BD

16oz can from "Lifesource" in Salem.OR. $1.99 Dark amber, hazy with a quarter inch creamy light tan head. Aroma is mainly on the malty side caramel,biscuit..some spicy hop. Very nicely balanced tasty, chocolaty malts, spicy hop holds up..bitter liquorice at the end. Good smooth mouthfeel. Nice beer, but the liquorice aspect is pretty high in the after taste so if you dislike liquorice maybe this wont be for you.

Can. Citrus, dark fruit, cloves and spice. Smooth and complex with a light bitterness throughout. Solid finish with a fruity sweet after taste. Tasty.
