Bottle (part of a Federation selection pack). Biscuity malt, toffee, spices and fruit. Full mouthgell but an unusual flavour I couldnt place.

Bottled. Amber colour, moderate white head but strangely lumpy like semolina or frog spawn, low condition. Not bottle conditioned but had a fine grey sludge coating the bottle bottom (not an old bottle though). Low peppery hop aroma, sweet and malty in the mouth with some caramel and toffee. Biscuits in the finish and a slight hop bitterness.

Amber coloured. Sweet with some chewy malt. Medium bodied and dry with lingering salty finish. One-dimensional but balanced.
