A very good West Coast-style pale ale. The beer pours a dark golden color with a small-ish white head. The head leaves some nice lacing around the glass. The nose is full of prickly, resiny, dry, fruity and spicy hops. The flavors and body of the beer contain all those qualities of hops, as well. There is a ton of fruity notes from the hops, especially notes of grapefruit, orange and lemon. The only downer to this beer is that it’s all hops. There isn’t a whole lot of malt to balance everything out. However, this is still a very delicious and enjoyable pale ale!

Bottled. Poured clear, bright golden with a tall, fluffy cap of sticky white head. The aroma picked up lemon rind and dusty earth over soft pale malts.. not a whole lot going on, but it was alright. The flavor opened a little tart and bitter, with lemon leading.. soft pale malts and a pinch of honey at the core.. lemon zest and grassy notes around.. finished tangy, with lots of residual bitters. Light-bodied and crisp on the palate.. higher carbonation.. very drinkable and kinda refreshing.

12 oz bottle from Spirits Brick. Poured a slight chill hazed golden straw body with an average sized bright white foamy head that left some nice rings of lace on my DFH tulip. Aroma of grapes, grains, honey, hint of cold vegetable soup. Medium bodied with average carbonation and a dry feel throughout. Flavor is rather simple with some dirty dry bitter citrus notes along with dry grains. Meh, drinkable but nothing to write home about.

Bottle. Pours a golden clear yellow color and thin white head. Slight citrus, grass, and zest. Light sweet caramel taste with spicy, hop notes. Decent.

(Bottle, Oliver Twist, Stockholm, 31 March 2012) Golden amber colour with frothy, white head. Malty, slightly fruity nose with notes of citrus, grass, tropical fruit and passion-fruit. Malty, hoppy taste with citrus, grass, pale ale malt and a generous grassy bitterness in the finish. Medium body, quite dry. Could have been a bit thin, but the fresh and generous hop character makes it quite enjoyable.

Pours a clear golden yellow with minimal head. Aroma is slightly sweet with notes of peppery hops. The taste is initially balanced between hop bite and malt sweetness. In the end it lingers dry and peppery. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottled at Oliver Twist, Stockholm. Clear amber, brief head. Aroma of green apples. Light-medium bodied with clean mouthfeel. Grapefruit, salt and green apples. Slight metallic edge on the salty bitter finish. Primitive.

Pours a clear pale yellow with a medium white head...great lacing and good retention. Aroma has light spice and grassy notes...mild maltiness...faint and boring. Flavor follows suit...grassy...mild and boring. Mouthfeel is light and lively and the finish actually has great bitterness...dry.

Pours deep gold with a white head which quickly dissipated. Aroma is resin, citrus and grass. Taste is light bitter, much less then expected as the aroma was intense. Light mouth feel with a little stickiness on the finish. It just seemed incomplete, the aroma is awesome but it just doesn’t translate to the taste.

12 ounce bottle. This is a bottle of butter. The diacetyl in this beer overwhelmed every other aspect of this beer. Slight hoppy citrus and floral notes. Footbalmed.
