Bottle - from sampler pack. Light copper color - cloudy. HUGE head. Clean, slightly hoppy aroma. Pretty good. Hoppy, but definitely overcarbonated. Not the best flavored hops, either.

Pours a deep golden color with a pillowy white head which lingers. Aroma is pine, citrus, sweet maltiness. Taste is pine, grainy woodiness, faded maltiness and sweetness, a bit harsh on the aftertaste of biscuit and soggy grain. This needs to be smoothed out.

Mostly clear, honey gold with a big head. Standard longneck, comical label. Hoppy, very fruity kumquat aroma - tart and sweet. Malty, woody, medium sweetness, tangy. Mouthy with a sweet finish, which also has some grassiness. Thanks to LuckyDog for pulling this back from his Atlantic coast swing.

Nice pale for the warm days. Pours clear amber with a thin head. The aroma is mostly citrus and a little pine and some sweet malt. The flavor follows with a very dry and refreshing finish

Growler from the brewery. Pours clear medium brown with a frothy white head and lots of lacing. Smells nutty, malty, bready, slightly sweet. Tastes malty, nutty, and like apricot. Sweet and a little tart. Light body and low carbonation.

Growler. Pours mostly clear amber with creamy white head. Aroma is cereal and bready malts, light caramel, light floral notes, light dates, and some faint toast. Flavor is bready malts quickly followed by sharp hop bitterness and some light stone fruit esters; dry finish with some lingering grapefruit bitterness. Medium body and low carbonation.

Tap. Pours a clear gold body with a small creamy white head that had pretty good retention. Big floral and citrusy hop nose with just a slight caramel malt base. Very clean and fresh smelling. The flavor is a little less clean, the malt is a bit too cereal grain like. Light bitterness with some citrusy notes. Light to medium bodied with fizzy carbonation, lingering bitter finish. Not bad, gets better the more you drink, the bitterness tends to linger and build, covering the cereal graininess.

Bottle. This was a weird beer, I can’t imagine this tasted how the brewer really intended. Nevertheless, I really enjoyed it. Pours hazy golden orange with a big off white head. Light flowery and fruity hops, pale and bready malts, some light rustic yeasty and earthy notes, and a floral finish. Odd, I don’t think the weird, almost saison-esque (but not really) yeasty notes are intentional, and the hop profile kind of tows the line between american and english pale ales. But it was well balanced all around and really quite drinkable. I wish a had another bottle to stick on the fridge for a couple months, because I bet whatever the hell yeast got into this to make it so interesting now is gonna make it pretty awful in due course.
