Bottle. Blueberry nose but not extremely strong, pours ruddy pink with a large, pink-tinged foamy head. Light body with a little tang, vague sweetness and fruit flavor, faint bitterness, no malt or hops coming through. Resemblance closer to flavored water. There’s just nothing here.

From a bottle I wasn’t expecting much. First taste tho made me change my mind. Good sour sizlle makes this stuff dance on your palate. Yes good beery flavor, if not artificial, but seems real. I’m not sure where the 4.2% came from but it seems more like a 6%’er. Yes, fun and easy on the head, like able. Woulld’t having another of these. Something liek old blue but more beleivable. Yep, much better than expected, more than a typical fruit beer.

FROTHINGSLOSH (3947) - GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 15, 2012
Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured an orange-caramel color with lost of little floaters and a large foamy off white head that faded fairly quickly and left no lacing. The aroma was sweet artificial sugar and blueberry. The flavor was dry and bitter with cardboard, and faint vague berry. Medium length dry cardboard and berry finish. Light body. Disappointing.

Small, very small blueberry nose. Blueberry taste its even smaller. Finish is missing completely. Not a very good beer. Low alcohol makes this even wore

Apricot colored pour, white head. Aroma of blueberries, pie crust, yeast. Flavor is berry forward, some lager yeast seems to be present, more pie crust. Ok for the style.

This ranks up there with some of the best blueberry beers I’ve tasted. My two favs are Gilded Otter(new Paltz, NY) and Bar Harbor Brewco.(ME). Oh and Manyunk Brewco.(Philly, PA). This has brown amber hue, lasting white head, sweet but natural blueberry aroma, flavor could be more complex but has subtle fruit/grain balance, feels hearty yet fizzy(which I like) finish is very long with sweet/tart bluberries but not too cloying. If you read all of this, you are a geek. Like me.

Hazy orange pour, faint blueberry on the nose and a little more in the taste with a lot of carbonation. It is just ok. The design on the bottle is just flat out weird (belching blueberries, lol).
