Our new Belgian Dark Ale literally translates to, "Heart of Darkness". Made with Hallertau hops and infused with Dark Belgian Malts. You will quickly see where it got its name. LIke the Human heart, this beer can seem innocent at first with its light, bubbly appearance. However, don’t let the color fool you, for at its heart it is truly dark and twisted.

2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 6/20
On tap at the Bethlehem location. Poured a dark amberish color with an off white head. Caramel with butter. Buttery all the way around. Lots in the aromas with buttery tastes. Lighter roast, candi sugary, and fruits - but the butteriness detracted from everything.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
a well made Belgian brew complete with adequate flavor of sweet Banana curd, coriander and a hint of clove. Deepend some with some dark caramel and a bit of chocolate candi sugar. i didn’t notice the buttery aspect and found the beer only moderate of mouthfeel and a bit slick.

2.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 6/20
Needed a bit more caramel malts to really round out the beer. The taste lingers softly, surrounded by a ton of buttery smoothness.
