On tap at philadelphia bar and restaurant. Copper, mostly clear. Funky yeast aroma, rotting apricots, bread. Funky, spicy saison flavor with some apple, pear. Very light, easily drinkable. Aptly named, but only ok.

Tasty brew. Pours cloudy orange with a white head. Aroma is notes of vanilla and cherry. Very smooth.

Bottle. Clear golden color, big fluffy white head with solid lacing. Aroma of dusty overripe fruit. Taste is peppery, dusty, lightly funky fruit. Very nice.

Backlog....Pours a moderate golden color with a huge, fluffy white head. Aroma is of dried fruits, basement, old pear, rotted fruit. Taste is old over ripened fruits, odd funky notes, lots of strange yeasty notes. Taste is much the same, some strange sweetness, rotted fruit, some pear, light funk. Not really sure where they were going with this.

750 cc from Wegman’s Collegeville. Pours turbid straw with 3-finger, frothy, white head. Nose is orange marmalade, yeasty malt, some funk. Tastes citric, bready malty, with not much funk or yeastiness. Comes off like a slightly hoppier and sweeter maibock with an earthworm’s taint’s worth of extra funk.

The Beer Store, Southampton, PA bottle: Pours murky orange with a whitish head. Aroma is sugar, bretty funk, and some dirt. Taste is on the sweeter side for a brett saison (I’m thinking that maybe it is because this a summer beer and this beer just been developing since then). Nice earthy finish. Still, the sweetness in this kind of makes me not like it as much. Slightly sour. Meh.

Bottle. 400th saison rating. Pours gold white head. Nose/taste of apple skin, bread crust, lemongrass, straw, lemon rind and musty yeast. Medium body.

#1000. I chose a beer from one of my favorite brewers out in Bethlehem, PA. Malt, yeast and citrus in aroma. Solid dark gold color with white lacing head. I taste malt, apple, citrus, hops, pepper, coriander, yeast. Slightly tart, but not too much. All flavors blend just right. Earthy aftertaste. This is a full flavored, very drinkable brew.

Lightly hazed pale golden with a moderate off white head.
Nose is tarte fruits, dank peach, lemon rind, straw, light caramel, yeast esters.
Taste comprises lemon rind, citric dipped straw, yeast, musty tones, bitter orange.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, dry closure.
Decent enough saison.

From the tap poured a straw color with a good amount of head. Light slightly tart malty flavor with a quick finish.

Pours a slightly hazy pale yellow with a foamy medium head. Aroma has a bit of tart funkiness with mild orange and spice. Flavor is funky and rindy with light peppery spice. Mouthfeel is light and the finish is spicy/funky and dry.
