COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Hoppiest Brew Works beer ever? The smell of grapefruit, a sweet malt flavor, and oh by the way, lots of hop bitterness. Brewed in the tradition of West Coast ales, we have put loads of malt and hops in our kettle to come up with this sensational ale. Brewed with pale, and crystal malts, hopped with Tomahawks for Yakima Valley, WA. This beer styled has made many a microbrewery famous and this one is sure to please all those who love hops.

Bottle. Dark golden color, mostly clear. Clean, hoppy aroma. Strong and very hoppy. Quite good. Doesn’t taste as strong (10.5% ABV) as it actually is though!

Bottle into tulip glass, hazy golden-amber color with off-white head. Aroma notes of strong citrus hops, some pine, fruity and caramel malt sweetness. Taste adds notes of tropical fruits and toffee. Medium body, moderate-low carbonation, dry, creamy with citrus/pine bitter finish. Pretty solid east coast style IPA.

Freezer Chill. 12 oz bottle into ping glass. Two finger fizzy off white head slowly dissipates. Some lacing. Beer is yellow orange in color. Aroma is hoppy with notes of resin, floral, grass, and spruce. Taste is very lightly sweet. Medium bitter with primarily resin and spruce notes. Maybe some citrus reigns. Medium body. Slick texture. Average carbonation. Long bitter finish. Over all ok IPA. Not as crisp and refreshing as I like them. Bitter hop lovers may think otherwise.

Draft at the Bethlehem Brew Works. Quite a good IPA, plenty of citrus hop flavor and aroma, good bitterness. I think the recipe might have changed somewhat, the description here does not quite match the current one on the website.

Pours copper orange one finger off white head with pretty nice lacing. Aroma is of citrus, pine, tropical fruits, sweet malts, and light caramel. Medium body with a slightly creamy mouthfeel and a moderately bitter, semi dry, medium finish. Overall, pretty nice DIPA.

From a bottle into a snifter. Grapefruit aroma, some sticky white head. Mouthfeel is thick and juicy. Taste is bitter, muddled, citrus and just kinda messy. Lots of pith. Meh, really mediocre to subpar. Tastes bigger than 6% though.

Draught. Honeyish golden colour, small slightly off-white head. Aroma is caramel, toffee and then a bunch of fruitiness and sweet floral notes to it as well. Flavour is very similar, but also has some resin and herbal notes to it. A bit too much hops for my taste.

12 ounce bottle that I don’t know the source. Clearish amber gold with a nice rocky beige head. This is quite pleasant. Nice fruit that includes citrus and tropical varieties. Caramel is also nice. This is generally sweet but does have some grapefruit bitterness. Tropical fruit in the after taste. I like the sweetness. Nicely done.

bottled - a very good IPA. Super hoppy flavor with a hop/citrus aroma. Good stuff (been on an IPA kick lately).

put simply, this beer is just not good. Pours a very nice dark tan. outside of that, not much else to say positive. way tooo much malt and no hops in it. should be called non-hop explosion. this is just terrible.

At the brewpub The aroma is caramel, citrus, hoppy and malty. The appearance is slightly hazy amber, white head. The flavor is caramel, citrus, flowers. The finish is sweet, citrus, grapefruit. Medium in body. Good overall.
