750 ml bottle from brewery. Pours a hazy deeper orange with a medium bubbly off white head that left some spotty lacing. Aroma of resiny hop notes, pine, orange, floral hop notes, some light caramel character. Flavor of pine resin, light alcohol, grapefruit, other citrus and floral hop notes. Loads of hop flavor and aroma. Some tea, toasted malt and caramel hints.

Was really impressed by this beer. Pours orange with white head. Huge floral and grapefruit/ctirus arouma. Taste is lots of sweet caramel and honey, though it was beginning to verge on cloying. A bit grassy and grainty. Bitter is well balanced. Alcohol is almost completely masked by the hops.

Bottle at Paul’s tasting. Pours a hazy orange with a thin head. Loads of pine and citrus, touch of malt. Lots of caramel and spicy earthy hop bitterness. Nice slow bitter finish with some caramel sticking around. Also… 11.5%? wow, no idea at all. Well hidden.

Bottle. Pours a hazy amber body with a white head. Dusty hop tones, vine, floral, light soap. Honey and some bitter grapefruit notes. Citrus, grass, grain, and the hops are fading fast, drink em if ya got’em.

750 ml bottle. Pours a hazy deep gold copper with a thin white head. Aroma is moderately hoppy over some crackery malts, light caramel sweetness- hops are minty, slight medicinal grassy, tea floral, citrus and light pine- some phenolics though. Flavor comes through a bit more with citrus hops, grapefruit and orange peel, still more off phenolics gets a bit minty- moderately dry considering the high abv, which leaves for an ok bitterness. A bit better than expected from BBW, but still not great for a DIPA.

750 ml bottle via trade with boamr - Pours a hazy amber color with a one and a half finger thick off white head. Nice lacing. Aroma is floral and pine hops and light toasted malt. Flavor is hops and licorice. Licorice!? Medium body. A nice IPA. Thanks Ryan.

Bottle. Aroma of grapefruit, tropical fruit notes, rich cracker malt, alcohol. Flavor really keeps up the bitterness despite the high gravity, but is also hampered a bit by alcohol. Kind of reminded me of 120 Minute, but on much lighter steroids.

Bottle purchased from the Allentown brewpub. Pours a hazy orange brown with a thick white head. Aroma of sweet caramel malt, raisins, oatmeal, light citrus, and some booze. Flavor is heavily malt-dominated with some sweet citrus and a touch of fruits including apricot and tropical fruits. More like a hoppy barleywine than a IIPA. Still, it’s quite tasty and it really grew on me. 7/4/8/4/14 [3.7/5]

22oz. Bottle: Aroma of hops, pine, resin, caramel malt, light Earth, and a hint of tropical fruit. Poured amber in color with a huge, foamy, rocky, creamy, beige/tan head that diminished a bit but lasted throughout. Cloudy. Sparkling. Full of tiny and small particles throughout. Very good lacing. Flavor is lightly sweet and heavily bitter. Tastes of hops, caramel malt, pine, resin, slight wood, light Earth, slight tropical fruit, spicy hops, and some citrus. Medium body. Oily, then dry texture. Average carbonation. Hops, pine, resin, caramel malt, and slight tropical fruit finish is very dry. 11.5%ABV is completely hidden throughout.

22oz bottle. Poured a deeper and hazy amber color with a huge sized, frothy, off white head. Lacing left on the glass. Aromas of pine, floral hops, some earthiness, and some tropical fruitiness. Tastes of the same tropical fruits, citrus, floral hops, and some caramel. Chewy body with light to medium alcohol in the finish (but I would not have guessed 11%+).
